Happy with the opponents mind. Ideal prep for the Swiss.

Happy with that. I'd expect at least 25k on a Friday night, anything less would be poor. But I certainly wouldn't mind having it up in Wrexham

It's about time a friendly was played in Swansea. We all know it will be in the CCS though.

The crowd for Wales 1 northern Ireland 1 on THURSDAY 24 March 2016 was 21,855 With similar pricing the FAW would expect at least this number to attend. Oh God. That was a night to forget. The only highlight in it was Churchy's pen. I have never been so wet and miserable at a football game ;-(

Doubt we'd sell out the Ccs but 20k sell out at the Liberty on a Friday night would be good!

I don't think we've ever got over 12k at the Liberty. No chance we'd sell it out against Austria.
Did we even sell CCS out against the dutch in 2015?

I think it would be a good game to take to Swansea. There'll be 3 nations league games at Cardiff in the Autumn anyway. Give those from west wales a bit more of a chance to see a game.

Liberty Stadium. Market the game right though. Cheapish tickets, say £15 and £5. Sell them at The Liberty as well as through FAW. Get the tickets on sale soon, don't leave until weeks before as has been done in the past.

Our country isn’t bloody Russia .... Swansea is only 40 odd miles from Cardiff... trains, buses, motorway...... got no problem with the game being in Swansea but to say it’ll give westerners a better chance to see the game? I’d like to see it played at the Cae Ras which would actually give northerners more of a chance to see the game

Phil Blanche on twitter has said there's a chance Wales could play the Netherlands in a pre season friendly in Rotterdam in June, would be good prep and a decent away day that.

There is only one train east of Swansea after an evening kick off and that terminates in Cardiff. So unless they put extra on...

Seriously? You think we don't travel in large numbers from the North? Maybe I have misunderstood but the commitment needed to attend a home game is massive. Many have to take a day's leave from work and we rarely get home before 2am so please don't suggest that not many would travel. I agree though, that Swansea should get a share of the matches just as Wrexham should.

I just don't buy that we'd sell the Liberty out. Friday night, decent opposition, £15 adult tickets, advertise it well enough and it should sell out. 21,000 turned up for the Northern Ireland friendly at the CCS in March 2016, and that was on a Thursday night...

Rumours growing of a home friendly against USA in March. If true we should definitely play that one in Wrecsam.

So Austria and potentially the US at home in March. Netherlands away in June. Could get on board with that.
