We're going to do it, by March a lot of our players will have improved, it's Rodon's first ever full season starting every game, Neco, JJ, Ampadu, they're all getting better. I do like this positive outlook. But will Page improve by then?

Hope it's a home leg for the final, could be a nightmare trying to sort travel to Poland/Estonia with 5 days notice. I'm sure that we will get an away final if we get through. It’s a draw on Thursday which semi final winner hosts. Just like it was for the World Cup.

But if Estonia/Poland get to host the Final, we will only learn where that is on the 21st... I figured that Kaunas is exactly 7 hours from both Warsaw and Tallinn... and quite a pleasant town ;-)

Our pre-draw odds have us overall 4th favourite to qualify out of everyone, but have us 3rd favourite out teams in our draw behind Ukraine & Poland I presume the Ukraine odds include the 67% chance of them being in path B? We Global will have a more accurate view after Thursday's draw I guess.

I like we global football but that’s a bit of a nonsense stat Makes sense to me? Ukraine are the highest ranked team going into the playoffs and could end up in the A pathway. Poland will have an easier semi final which probably factors in as well to them being above us in their predictions.

Hope the fabled? UEFA hot balls are in operation for Ukraine tomorrow because from the looks of We Global, if they get a path B draw against Bosnia, we get Finland 😀

Hope the fabled? UEFA hot balls are in operation for Ukraine tomorrow because from the looks of We Global, if they get a path B draw against Bosnia, we get Finland 😀 I'm sure it doesn't happen. In fact, when FIFA paired Portugal and Italy together for the world cup play offs then you had to think that was the case. I know this UEFA but the principal applies. In fact they're probably all secretly hoping that someone knocks Israel out. They'll come with all sorts of security baggage at the moment. Putting Ukraine in that play off path would virtually remove that risk.

Statistically, the most likely games are: Israel-Iceland (75%) Bosnia-Ukraine (33%) Wales-Finland (33%)
I think if Israel gets Ukraine (25%) we get Iceland (33%)

Does anyone have a direct link for a stream? The uefa.com "video" just should Philip Lamm on repeat ...

Possibly the best outcome we could have had. Extremely kind draw for us. We can't mess this up now.

Excellent. Finland and Poland will be difficult of course, but playing at home in both is a big advantage.

Couldn’t have asked for a better draw really, it’s in our favour. We either qualify for the Euros or it’s Page’s last 1-2 games in charge and he’s gone.

We couldn't have asked for more - can't believe we've lucked out again! It's obviously still going to be really difficult - we're probably a fair bit better than Finland and evenly matched with Poland, but home advantage is huge. If we can't make it through this path, we don't deserve to be there and it'll obviously be the end of the road for Page. But if we see the same standard of performance as in the last two home games then I can't see us failing. Consistency is key!
