Thank god Always find it dead weird when fans sing about a team they're not even playing. Thankfully you rarely hear it at Wales games. At Wrexham, just last Saturday our fans were singing about Chester. All for the rivalry but they're not even in our league ffs.

There has to be a way of making this work for Ramsey.
Hey mambo, don't wanna tarantella Hey mambo, no more a mozzarella Hey mambo, mambo italiano

Or change the words from Hey mambo, to Hey Rambo?
Wonder if its also worth adopting Kings of Leon's "Sex on fire" to James is on Fire or something.

I know he probably won't feature in the Euros but what about a play on the song, Copa Cabana, for Ben Cabango?
I'm sure someone else on here can come up with some innovative lyrics for the rest of the chorus 😀

I reckon we should come up with our own twist on the ‘went to Rome to see the Pope’ chant for the Italy game.

One of the great things about the resurgence in the fortunes of the national team was the huge improvement in the atmosphere at home games, helped by the brilliant Barry Horns.
I remember a lad that used to be a regular but had stopped going during the Toshack years, when everyone wasn’t just sick of the results but also the crap crowds and atmosphere and those bloody horns at the Millstad.
After much cajoling from me he made his return to his first home game in a couple of years, I remember his reaction “bloody hell, this is brilliant, we’ve actually got songs!! It’s like a club game”.
Problem is we seem to have gone a little off the boil in recent years. . We’ve gotten into singing the same 4 or 5 songs every game. We must sing ‘viva Gareth Bale’ about 15 times a game.
Hopefully with fans back again, having missed games over the last year or so, things will be buzzing again Wednesday, but we really could do with some new tunes.

Yep, one of the great things about supporting our national team. Singing songs that are actually getting behind the team rather than slagging off the opposition.
At club level, you hear the same awful songs every week, none of which support the team.

I think we’re doing alright. We’ve had some new ones for Keiffer, Wilson and Brooks in recent years but Dan James probably deserves a song.
Oh and Viva Gareth Bale is a stone cold classic. Expect it to be sung even more tomorrow.

Fair play - never heard of this, good digging. "Always winning" - must have been laughed at even back then! I think the 2016 song was fantastic personally, but to be fair this isn't terrible either. A modern cover of it would be quite good, I think. If we qualified maybe they could look at doing a new version with updated lyrics.

Might not be to your taste but it's every bit as much music as Beethoven. Being an MC takes serious skill & doing it bilingually is a skill itself. This is amazing for the Welsh music scene, and for the perception of Cymraeg as a modern vibrant & inclusive language. Just look at the response this has got - people love it!

'What's that coming over the hill? Its Brennan Johnson....its Brennan Johnson!'
I can see that one sticking

Anyone else think with the welsh language growing throughout Welsh football we should be chanting 'cymru, cymru' instead of 'wales, wales'
