As long as he's getting first team football, it's what our entire squad should be striving for rather than picking splinters out their arse for PL clubs

Good move and more chance of a regular start, better than sitting on bench in a premier league team

It looks a decent move. More than likely to be a starter (if fit) and playing for a manager who knows him well and knows what he's capable of.
Good luck Jazz.

Great move for him and Wales - probably less so for Swansea. If he has the ability I believe he has, then regular game time will give him the platform to show it. If he performs he'll get a move back to the Premier League sooner rather than later.

Regular football will give him a lot of confidence, he has good ability so it's a great move!
We need Hennessey, B.Davies, J.Williams, G.Williams, T.Lawrence and Emyr Huws to play regular football now!

He is useful isn't he? Seems relatively quick, gets up and down the pitch well, can cross and has decent technique. What a cross!
Looks like he can be a Premiership regular doesn't.
Very modest guy to (just heard him on Sky Sports).

Guardian quote:
Yet everything fell into place eight minutes from time when Ashley Richards, who was the standout performer for Wales, produced the cross from the right that Bale met with an emphatic header to spark wild celebrations on the bench.

Swansea must be crazy letting him go & for such a low amount of money.

Swansea must be crazy letting him go & for such a low amount of money. Yeah I was sad when it was announced he had gone. Should have gone on loan if anything. He did a cross like tonight's vs Man City at home which Gomis scored.

It's odd how he was really tentative when playing for Swansea last season - not helped by a fair contingent of idiots giving him a hard time - and yet for Wales he seems so composed and assured. There was one little cameo where he managed to escape the attentions of a couple of Cypriot players that was sheer class. Hopefully he can find his feet at Fulham.

If he keeps on putting in performances like tonight, bigger premiership teams will no doubt be after him. I hope Swansea have a sell on percentage clause.

Really impressive fair play to him. Last night, and the Belgium game gives himself a very strong case to be our main RB/RWB. Although I still love Gunter's passion and he himself has improved immensely, Jazz did provide so much more going forward. Some touch decisions face Coleman when all our defensive players are fit!

Man of the match ahead of Ash I reckon. Whole defence was very impressive. I'm sure we are now the best defence in the whole of the qualifiers in terms of goals conceded and yet they still call us 'BALES'

Loved his presence on the field last night. Seemed comfortable on the ball, and made it look easy to get out of sticky situations. One memorable moment for me was when he came under pressure, abit of ball control and quick feet and he dribbled passed 2 opponents..... And ofcourse the perfectly placed cross.
I'm glad he's had big credit for the game, he was class.

Embarrassing and childish behaviour by some Cardiff City fans, they really need to grow up.

Embarrassing and childish behaviour by some Cardiff City fans, they really need to grow up. He's done himself no favours by refusing to accept an invitation by his new club's fans to show he's one of them. Bottom line here is that he has made it common knowledge in Swansea that he will never do the gesture if asked to do so by the Cardiff fans. If he feels that strongly in a negative way about Cardiff City he shouldn't have signed for them.

Cardiff have booed a lot of players down the years who haven't done the ayatollah on demand.

After the camerarderie in France , very dissapointed to read of Jazz being booed.
Also on Saturday night's Rob Phillips phone in on Radio Wales, the first caller, a Cardiff 'fan' said he wanted all teams in Wales to do well 'except for that lot down the M4.
I thought we might have moved on.

He is a player that is born in another City, that just happens to play for Cardiff City. He won't be the first person that isn't totally in love with a club and has gone there for personal reasons.
What is it with Cardiff fans and the Ayatollah - even at Wales games? I can remember Cardiff fans signing 'do the Ayatollah' to Jermaine Easter at a friendly in Belfast and at Danny Gabbidon when he was warming up at half-time for the Andorra away game.

What has this got to do with the divisions that USED to exist at Wales games?? As for not being 'one of us', when he puts on the club jersey he IS one of us! He represents the club that the fans love. He should be respectful to that club and any traditions it may have... He doesn't have to love it, just show respect. This is not a new phenomenon, this expectation exists at every football club in the world
