We have a meeting scheduled for 9.30 am Friday November 20th with the FAW. The agenda will include issues that affected the fans during this campaign and future plans for next year including France 2016.The UEFA website gives information about tickets but is sometimes confusing , so we hope to collate some questions based simply on the needs of Welsh fans re tickets for France 2016...if you can help that would be great...we already have a list but if you could think of any specific question you would like us to add please feel free to do so.

Not re Euro 2016 tickets as such, but something needs to be said about this Holland match being on a Friday. The FAW had a choice on this one. It wasn't dictated by UEFA. They should have prioritised a Saturday fixture as a gesture of good will for those travelling from the North and people who wanted to take children to the match. If Holland couldn't/wouldn't do Saturday then the FAW should have walked away and got someone else to play.
Can they reassure fans from the North and outside the M4 corridor that they are doing everything they can to ensure friendly fixtures that fall on weekends will be held on Saturdays (or Sunday) rather than Friday nights?

Gutted I won't make Friday's game - as the above poster said it's very inconvenient. However, it would be good to know if there are plans for a February/March fixture so that fans can organise time off/ save up etc. For me, if there's no plans for a March game, I'll book to do the U21s in Bulgaria and Romania (easy for me). If there are plans, I shan't book!

A lot of nations are playing Friday however and many friendlies had already been arranged eg England vs France. Not making excuses but maybe if we had walked from the Dutch game then nobody might have been willing to play us. Scotland haven't got a game for example, not sure if that is through choice or not. Also Saturday this time around there are no trains east of Cardiff, I'm sure this would have played some part of the decision too.

If the FSF Cymru group could ask has any thought been given to ticket prices/structure and sale dates for the World Cup campaign that would be amazing.

The group games can be set in advance but what happens if we get out the group? How many per member? I've seen instances of members having access to one or a pair for each game? How does the follow your team ticket work? If you have a valid code how many can you purchase together? I.e. If there are 8 members eligible can you buy 8 together? If I can think of any more will add later Thanks

The strike only affects Arriva Trains Wales, so there will be services to Bristol by FGW/GWR. I know the strike wasn't known at the time, that was not my point. Making people aware that trains will be an issue on Friday now as well. Roads will therefore be busier than usual as I believe the Valley lines are operated by Arriva

One on Euro 2016 tickets from me. Can you put this scenario to the FAW?
UEFA website states that you are only allowed to apply for either Follow your Team tickets or individual tickets.
Say UEFA decide to put 2000 Follow your Team tickets for sale - no doubt that the most loyal fans are more likely to apply for these than individual games. Say that the 3000 of the most loyal Wales fans all apply for these 2000, only 1000 will be successful (2 tickets per person).
What happens to the 2000 who were unsuccessful? Will they be offered individual tickets instead? If not, then I would suggest that there is a real chance that (as in this scenario), 2000 of the most loyal 3000 fans don't get tickets.

Corky, Could you ask if it would be possible for the team to set up a training camp in North Wales before any possible home friendlies in the spring. Even if the game is still due to be played in Cardiff they could use the racecourse for an open training session and give the kids of the North a chance to see and meet the squad. A flight back down to Cardiff from Hawarden would only take 45 mins.

Please please please can the FAW avoid playing a match in this date because many of us plan to be at the Manics / Super Furry Animals gig at Liberty Stadium and there is a huge overlap between the fan bases of the bands and the Wales football team. Eg. Of the 20 people who I watch Wales with at home or away, all Wales regulars, 18 of us are planning to go to the gig. But otherwise I agree - Saturday is best!

The Champions League Final hasn't stopped us before - we played Germany at home on the night before the 2002 Champions League Final & Northern Ireland in Dublin on the day before the 2011 Final. I guess UEFA rules might prevent internationals on the day of the final itself?

Just something that's not quite as important as all the Euro 16 stuff but if you could raise it, it would be great.
The Under 21 matches this time round are very poorly scheduled in my opinion. Tomorrow's game is at 2pm in Bangor, which means that everyone who is going to the senior team's game will miss out, and a lot of people who aren't going to that game will presumably have reasons like not being able to get off work in time, which means that the 2pm timing is no good for them either, and a lot of young people will be at school/college/uni. The one in Wrexham on Tuesday is at 6pm, which is slightly better but for a lot of people who have to be in work until 5 it causes problems. If it could be at 6pm then why not 7pm? Would still finish early enough for people to get home afterwards which ever mode of transport they use.
Maybe the FAW have no control over it, but even so it would be good if they could feedback to UEFA or whoever, or if they could provide an explanation regarding how the times/dates are chosen etc. Feel a bit sorry for the u21s really, who are doing so well so far this campaign but will have much less support than they could be getting for these fixtures. Now is the time to raise the profile of every age group we have.
Thanks.

The following is from the August minutes of the FSF meeting with FAW....Of course we will continue to keep on top of it and on the agenda
Membership and points system When will the new memberships for the 2018 campaign be available? Will it be the end of this year or beginning of next year?
New membership for the World Cup 2018 qualifying campaign will be available from around March 1st 2016.
Will it also be a requirement to get tickets for Euro 2016 and, if so, will that mean that the 2010 membership will be dropped? No, the new membership WC 2018 will not be considered for Euro 2016 ticket applications.
Can we keep it at the current prices? We believe that membership numbers will rise next campaign and the data that creates is more valuable than the cash, although a great deal of cash will still be raised through membership even at the current prices.
Membership prices will be looked at and discussed but the final decision will be made by the FAW, hopefully towards the end of this year.
Will all the points that supporters have accrued be available to members? Many are confused about the system at present.
Lucy said she wants to move away from the points system and concentrate on membership and purchase history but a review meeting will take place within the FAW at the end of this campaign to decide the right way forward. It was also suggested that the FAW produce a supporters charter that will be transparent with clear guidelines regarding ticket criteria as well as other matters that affect supporters, hopefully the fans can have some input in the creation of that charter. -

Looking forward to hearing more info on the tickets for the tournament. It hasn't been made overly clear up until now.
Here are a couple of questions that I'd be grateful if they were answered.
If 2 people apply together for a tournament ticket but one person is very likely to qualify for every game due to their purchase history but another only has, for example, this year's tournament ticket on their's, will the person with higher membership's likelihood of getting a ticket be lowered?

Excellent post. Are there plans for staging a friendly for the Welsh senior squad at Wrexham before the finals? It's not up to standard though? Reduced capacity compared to the CCS too.. Yes fair comment its a reduced capacity but all these friendlies are surely not going to be against top nations?, so less of an attraction. It was not up to standard last year due to the playing surface but this has been mainly rectified, I wonder what it will be this time?
