You forgot number 3) That the English have always stolen from other nations, especially ours. They are the biggest thieving cunts on the planet and its in there national psyche that this is normal and acceptable. and number 4) we only pinch players that England don't want/need,they target players we do need.

Well, they can't have him now!!
Glad we haven't got to go through years of this shit again like we did with Collison.
Did he touch the ball?

F*CK U ENGLAND!
Lol. At one point I thought he was going to get us the winner but Vokes or him couldn't get on the end of the cross.
His situation is a weird one for us, we're used to our young caps playing professional football first where we see their potential, I really don't know how good he is, I look forward to finding out.

It's the young Fulumn striker we need to keep hold of.

Should be in U21s ahead of Ogleby.Williams again keeping someone back a la Declan John.Do need to be careful -England exploring all avenues now-Bond & Jones.

Bond is a bit different in the sense that the English (British?) goalkeeping cupboard is quite sparse. England are desperate for someone to come through from the youth ranks and not turn out to be average a la Foster, Kirkland, Carson. Butland might do but they don't seem convinced. They are desperate for a promising young keeper

How close is Wilson to being involved with the Liverpool first team. Too young to be sent out on loan so for me he should get as much experience as possible at u19 and u21 level.
Would also like to see John getting some games for the U21s and possibly for Cardiff, hopefully they don't see him as a long term left back as we don't need one

I think Wilson has only played 20 minutes for Liverpool u21s, he's nowhere their first team. I can't see him playing professionally for a while yet.

I thought Wilson's cap was a cheap one. Caps should be earned and he's not done anything to warrant a cap. If he's been capped in light of a paranoia that England might pick him then we've demeaned ourselves. Maybe not a popular view.

I know the point llannerch is making but I'm glad Coleman did it. He would have got some serious stick if he hadn't. Now its up to Wilson to knuckle down and make sure he's more of a Bale than a Green.

If Wilson is such a talent (I admit I'd never seen him play until last night), why has he never played for the U21s? Or Declan John? Do Chris Coleman and Geraint Williams speak to each other?

I find this a bit weird too. Maybe they'll both be in the u21s to face England though? We'll need our best u21 players for those games. Will the Horns be there?

If he is as Welsh as everyone is making out then we should have waited.

Frankly given the money that his taid was in line for there was no chance of him playing for England!

Why did Wilson get capped?
Cookie's in on a slice of that 125 grand Wilson's grandad has won, no doubt about it.

If he's been capped in light of a paranoia that England might pick him then we've demeaned ourselves. Bellamy concurred with you. I see where llannerch and Bellamy are coming from BUT imagine the stick if Coleman hadn't put him on...and then England had made a concerted effort to get him? We had a similar thing with Toshack and Rhys Williams- Tosh got pelters for not putting him on. Williams was willing to play for Wales. And although I'm sure Wilson is proud to play for Wales, at the same time, if his agent is constantly telling him to pick England( becaue of the possible much greater financial reward) then he might have been susceptible... And another thing, we're Wales, not Brazil or Spain. we've had some right shite players play for us over the years. Did Paul Mardon or Ryan Green or Marcus Browning or Lee Nogan all really display such sparkling form at club level to get their call ups? So I can't think that picking Wilson was any more demeaning to us than picking Ryan Green. Talking of which, it's now up to WILSON himself to knuckle down and not become Ryan Green mk 2.
