Celtic could be a good move for him. He did say his partner is Scottish so no doubt that would be appeal to them.

Is there a better advert for yourself than scoring a winner in the Euro's? There will be contracts from various countries.

Is he getting worried about finding a club?

Thought something was up when he started to be linked with top Spanish clubs. I don't think he's getting the offers and his team are releasing stories in the hope premier league clubs other than Hull become interested.

It's very surprising that he hasn't secured a deal somewhere, is his agent asking for too much money? He would be classified as a homegrown player, so you'd think that would increase his appeal.

Was he offered a contract at reading ? If so was it down to money or wanting success? Or is it the case he has become greedy and wants big wages.? He knew is days was numbered at end of season and with great euros there has to be clubs interested, I dont buy into big European clubs coming in for him considering his record prior to France.
But sure a premier or another championship club must be in talks ..... if not he has really f@#k up

But sure a premier or another championship club must be in talks ..... if not he has really f@#k up He was offered a contract by Reading but it obviously wasn't on the terms he was looking for. He hadn't exactly ripped up trees for them so I expect they wanted to reduce his wages/bonuses. He has said that he purposely ran down his existing contract, probably with an eye on the shop window that the Euros would give him. Wouldn't be surprised to see him at Hull as soon as he knows who the manager will be. They need players desperately.

The longer this saga goes on the more likely he's going to end up at a club like Bristol City

I think the chances of Hal not making the squad are non existent.

I think the chances of Hal not making the squad are non existent. True - but the chances of him not being match fit are increasing by the day.

What is the 'right move' though? If he had moved a few weeks ago he could be already up and running and probably in the EPL too.

Let's be honest, he's nowhere near the level required for what West Ham want. He'd be backup for the backup. I'm surprised Rangers (as awful a club as they are) haven't looked at him, he'd fit a lot of their requirements. He's in a tricky situation.

Gone a bit quiet with HRK.
I reckon he's going to end up with a Championship club.

Looking pretty bleak tbf, Reading fans must be laughing their tits off as his dream move becomes even more elusive.

starting to look like either him or his agent (or both) have gone all Johnny Big Balls and it appears like it could potentially blow up in his face.
Personally I really don't think he is english premiership level and not a guaranteed starter at championship level.
Love his attitude and commitment when playing for us but I have a feeling he is made to look a little better than he is.
Mind you that goal, pure genius never to be forgotten.
Need him back as we only have Vokes as an option up front at the moment

if he can play like he does for wales then i wouldnt mind him with the swans because baston is out for a few weeks and the only senior striker is llorente so i wouldnt mind him as back up and who knows if he trains really well he might start playing instead of llorente because he hasnt been as good as i thought he would be

I think he's holding out for a PL club but he was hardly pulling up trees in the Championship, the Reading fan I know always used to slate him. I think Cookies gets the very best out of him and he raises his game for us. Personally i'd prefer him to go to the Championship because if he was signed by a PL team I can only see him becoming an impact sub and a bit part player.
