They'll need 16 40,000+ stadia according to the report. No mention of Northern Ireland. Michael O'Neill said hosting world cup games at Windsor Park would be huge for NI. Presumably must mean they're in the frame.

I take 2 stadiums in the same city won't count for FIFA ? Cardiff have the potential to expand City stadium if they stay in the premiership! It only needs an extra 7000 to match the criteria.

The last time England bid for a world cup they received no votes in favour of them holding it. I remember reading about FIFA delegates calling them big headed know it alls because they were so disgusted with their arrogance. The only reason Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are in the frame is because the English will hide behind the banner of the UK and they are ignorant enough to think that will work. They will take over, we will have the English government pushing English exceptionalism all throughout the tournament while ignoring our country and we will have arsehole politicians calling for a Team GB. The English FA are entrenched in the English establishment and shouldn't be trusted one bit. This will be used as a catalyst to steal our national team away from us and I do not support it at all.

I doubt Cardiff City would host any games. If anything Wales will get Principality Stadium and that is it. Transport logistics and hotels etc wouldn't see 2 stadia in use in the Cardiff. It would be a nightmare. If I were them it would be 100% - Wembley Olympic Stadium Old Trafford / Etihad St James Park Anfield Villa Park Probably 2 from Celtic Park / Ibrox / Hampden Park / Murrayfield Principality Stadium Then you'd probably have some out of the likes of Milton Keynes, Brighton, Southampton, Sunderland, Leeds etc. Stadiums they could look at using if the 2 per city rule was dropped - any of Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea (should be redeveloped by then), both Manchester's, possibly Everton's new ground.

I don't know where you have been, but how many times has the English FA already fucked over the FAW just in this decade? They stole our players for their olympics when we asked them not to, they keep pushing for a Team GB in the olympics because they have mates in Westminster helping them push their agenda and then WE are the bad guys for refusing, they backstabbed Wales in the IFAB presidency and the greedy pigs got the Euro 2020 games over us even though they already had a shitload of matches. You are a peanut head if you trust those arseholes won't use it for British nationalist purposes like they did with the Olympics and Scottish Commonwealth games.

If the Millennium stadium is selected then it'll be the WRU who'll probably benefit again, not FAW.
Don't trust English FA either!

If there are 48 teams some games will be Saudi Arabia v Iceland ! 18k should be enough for that ? Or Canada v Slovenia Liklehood will be 25k min should be ok for these larger world cups Thats a fair point. The quality will lessen, so will the crowds, at the early stages.

The quality will lessen, so will the crowds, at the early stages For the World Cup in Russia the grounds were allocated before the draw was made , so it will be difficult to allocate the smaller capacity grounds to Montenegro v Paraguay The only sadium under 45 000 hosted Belgium v England in Kaliningrad this year. Get out of the England bid NOW

North and South of the River and unless Chelsea move Saff of the river it would be Twickenham.
Likely London Fan zone would be Hyde Park, Cardiff maybe CCFC.........
Would need to be spread around to justify it politically.

Saudi's will do everything they can to ensure it doesn't happen.................. including Military Action.
Its why I would see England as a stand in were that to happen and FIFA do as well.
