All very annoying an frustrating - our country has a population of just under 3.2 million, therefore we are asking for about 1% to turn up on the 16th to support our national football team for what is a massive evening for us, which can assist us with positive future rankings and Euro qualifications. Yet, during France in 2016 we easily sold 25 - 30k per match worth of tickets which when you add the whole package was very expensive.Or,is it when we qualify for Euro 2020 the bandwagon jumpers will be back on board, following a nice 4 year break,it sucks, follow Wales through the thick and the thin, the good (which is now) and the bad (and there have been many).

Cardiff fans have always followed Wales. But if you look at South Wales population you could even ask the question why Cardiff City don’t have more fans from South Wales. Remind us what club you support again? Derby County but they are a massive 2nd to Welsh National team. I see where you are coming from. Fair enough but i still think Cardiff could do better on the gate. I still like Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and Wrexham.

Does playing there stop Swansea fans going? Genuine question. I'm a Swansea fan living in Cardiff. It doesn't bother me one bit that we play home matches at CC Stadium. Also, it wouldn't bother me if all 11 (or 14, including subs) were all Cardiff City players. Once they put on the red shirt, they are playing for my country, not their club. I follow all six Welsh teams playing in the english league pyramid system. I want them all to be successful every season. Afterall, they are up against enough sais teams week in week out to get our 'hatred' out against them. I can get home sooner from the Liberty (40 miles) than I can from CC Stadium (six miles) after a match.

My brother in law never been to an away game and was looked after for Euro 16 because he had a purchasing history against his membership. You are like a stuck record with your constant griping.

Won't ever forget that I'm afraid

Have you ever checked your purchasing history to make sure your account was credited? Not sure what relevance it has to this thread anyway?

In response to a post from tofeeman if that's ok with you. Still don’t see how your gripe with the FAW from 2 years ago is relevant to the Denmark home game? We know you are unhappy but we don’t know the true facts. The majority of people in your position were fine. Can I suggest as it is really such a big issue for you to clarify with the FAW to make sure you don’t experience the same thing again? Constantly reminding us on here will not solve your gripe.

Maybe a no gripe rule should be applied to the forum

Maybe a no gripe rule should be applied to the forum Look, you are going round in circles. We understand you are unhappy with the FAW. Talk to them, understand why so you don’t have the same issue next time a tournament comes round. I’m trying to be helpful...

There was a meeting in Cardiff in June. That is a practical and productive place to air grievances - past and present.

They were aware of my grievances at the time, however they had no interest. I also spoke to the FAW who despite being at fault had no interest.
But why would they
I still pay to watch Welsh league football
I still coach at grassroots level
I still buy 4/5 tickets for all home games
So they are still getting my cash which they have for the last 30+ years.
Nothing will change so I promise to try and say no more on the subject.

Do you know what time this meeting is? Can't find any info on it on any of the FSF sites which is a bit poor.

I'm from Pembrokeshire originally. Many loved the rugby and many loved the football. Club wise, it was Swansea if it was anyone but half of the kids would run around in Man United and Liverpool shirts.
Tend to meet quite a few from North Wales at the away matches. There were a couple of lads from Caenarfon on the bus back to Aarhus airport and a handful came in to a pub in Dublin. Then there's Llandudno, Wrexham, Prestatyn etc.

Are you sure that "everyone is welcome"?? My understanding is that it is invitees only with some guests who can only attend as observers. If I thought that you could just pitch up at one of the FAW / FSF meetings, I would have done so long ago.

Just looked at FAW site, still some left, only pairs appear to be available in block 123 - 124. I genuinely find this very disappointing that a Friday night decider, especially when we are playing sexy expansive footy, is not yet sold out. Why oh why oh why ;-(
About 400 still left till it's sold out. Unless they open up part of 121/122, I don't think there can be any more to go on sale.

Poor effort, considering how important the game is.
More interest for the friendly with Spain
3 main factors I guess
- fans don't realise the importance
- more attractive opposition
- pull of the Millennium stadium
Mind you to get a sell out compared to 5 years ago is a massive improvement
