Anyone else doing 2 return trips out to Baku, or is it just this idiot? We are in Florida until the Wednesday, have a gig in Coventry on the Thursday and am then planning on flying out on the Friday morning, get into Baku about 3am on Saturday. Fly back at 11pm, into Cardiff via Doha. Work Monday and Tuesday in London, then fly out via Istanbul Tuesday night. Into Baku Wednesday morning, back out Wednesday night (early hours), into Gatwick. Work Thursday and Friday, back out to Italy on the Sunday morning. 🙈👀 Completely nuts and you a complete idiot........................ thats just the supporting Wales bit
It is doable long as you can sleep on a plane and work on the basis that 2 weeks of broken sleep and tiredness. Upside is you get to see Wales play and can always sleep later and earn more to pay for it. You also save as not on the beer and no overnight accom.
In Euro2012 I drove 4 hrs each way to first game in Poznan, 11pm finish, drop littlie off and then grabbed 6am flight to Luton and was in work for for about 9.30 for a 10am meeting. They talking about football and someone said to me, it is a pity you never got a chance to go. Pulled the phone out Showed pictures of the game got a WTF, one of the people who would give me most grief changed from that as he said afterwards, you did that brought your littlie and still get here for meeting, means you ok by me. Family think I was absolute nuts to do it but another friend reminded me last year, that when I to get food and drinks that littlie was standing on his chair leading the singing.
Beats sitting at home, wishing IF only, can always earn more money, can never see Wales play their 2 games in Baku again and experience it.

Did the Baku trip back in November flying: Stansted - Istanbul (SAW) via Pegasus Istanbul (SAW) - Baku via Buta Airways Didn't leave the transit area, so no Turkish visa was required. BUT that was because I only had cabin luggage. Did you just have a mobile boarding pass and turn up at the gate for the second flight? I printed off my boarding pass which I showed prior to going through security in the transit area, then up the escalator into the departure terminal. Boarding pass then showed again at the gate.

Have a look at the English fan forum and see what they say about it...
Also, have you tried contacting UEFA on this link?

Just dawned on me that my Bristol - Geneva- Istanbul -Baku flight out on the 10th could mean I spend 2/3rds of the journey in the company of a load of Swiss fans !! Anyone else doing that journey out ? 🏴

Anyone else doing that journey out ? 🏴 I hope you've got plenty of time for your transfers. If you miss a connection going to Baku that week it could be almost impossible and certainly expensive to rectify. I've already had to write off 5 flights to Kiev when it came to light that some airlines use separate terminals with no airside transfers. We now get to Kiev via Riga a day earlier with 2 hours there and overnight in Kiev. Messing with the flights to Baku was simply not an option.

You are half right. The WoL did get their knickers in a twist about our fans in Osijek being denied entry, but that changed nothing four days later in Budapest. Same checks were done - just this time our fans had a tad more sense to expect the line of "I forgot my passport in the hostel" to work.
I can't imagine any one of our lads that were out in Osijek/Budapest to risk not having their passport original on them in Rome.

It’s required for every game in Italy. They do id checks for everyone

<!----> I doubt anyone got in with that line in Budapest. I saw a fair few have their tickets taken away from them.

For those that are interested, I've just seen on Facebook a Georgian travel agent putting a deal in place which involves a return coach trip from Gerogia to Baku with hotels as well. It is a cheap option with a lot of travelling but looks good for those on a budget. Hopefully the link below works. www.facebook.com/groups/360646257906045/permalink/534959733808029/

The now official friendly v NL in Rotterdam on the Saturday opens up a couple of new flight options
DIRECT FLIGHT ON WIZZ AIR FROM EINDHOVEN TO KUTAISI ON TUESDAY IS ONLY €42
Easyjet has flights for €25 Amsterdam to Milan Linate (Sunday or Tuesday). Ryan Air fly Bergamo to TBILISI Monday/Wednesday for €60 / €80
Personally, I'd recommend the extra two days in TBS and not in Milan... but that was the way to cookie crumbled for me ;+(<!----><!---->

Good morning all. I've stumbled across a user on twitter selling euro tickets, for mostly England games, and has some Wales. I don't suppose anyone could verify if they have bought any tickets through this user? Twitter handle is @road2euros20. He offered his LinkedIn profile as a form of indetity, Scott Jones from Sutton. Seems a legit looking guy, but would rather have piece of mind knowing someone had bought off him. Thanks in advance

Be very careful when rebuying any Euros tickets. Nobody's certain at the moment whether tickets are transferable if a person's name has already been allocated to the ticket.
In Rome especially, they will be matching the name on the ticket to your ID so you could get refused entry.

Avoid like the plague.
I got an email today from Uefa offering tickets, picked it up hours late but still added 2 Spain v Poland in Bilbao to the 4 Dublin games.

There was a press release last week saying they'd received 25 million applications for the 2.5 million tickets available. Clearly Baku was always going to be a difficult sell but you'd have thought the rest would have been pretty much sold out if those figures are right.
