Great credit to Ukraine for the performances they have put up in the past 10 days. They will almost certainly get promoted to League A with 3 games against Scotland & the Republic of Ireland to come, ironically they’ll probably replace us.

They won't be replacing us, 'cos we can pick up draws in Rotterdam this week and Brussels (September), and then beat Poland at home in the final group game. That should be just enough to keep us in League A.

Northern Ireland behind against Cyprus in League C, meaning they will be bottom of the group. Bottom place has to have a playoff against a League D side to determine whether they get relegated or not

Thick question - where do you get Premier Sports? Just go to their website, really easy to sign up if you have sky (which was my experience). So how does this work? I've tried to log in with my mums' sky account on the Premier Sports website but doesnt work. |

I know not Group A but do the teams in group B2 have nothing to worry about relegation wise with having Russia in their group?
Can they just play their games out without a care safe in the knowledge they won't finish bottom?

A couple of notable results tonight. Denmark beating Austria and seemingly cruising towards the Nations League finals. They seem to have become a real powerhouse in recent times, and after their Euro 2020 semi final as well perhaps our result against them ages better in hindsight
France losing to Croatia and currently bottom of their League A, need some positive results or facing potential relegation to League B. I'm no expert on French football, but surely their manager must be under pressure if that happens, and their showing at the last Euros was poor too. Especially with the most talented squad in the world
Kazakhstan beating Slovakia tonight puts them in a very good position to qualify for League B - interesting given their whole squad pretty much plays in Kazakhstan
Georgia also top of the League C group and have beaten North Macedonia. Maybe they are finally fulfilling some of their potential

I thought Croatia were a fading force, especially with some of the retirements theyve had over the last few years, but as with a lot of these countries they always seem to churn our quality players! I haven't heard of half of their current squad.

I haven't heard of half of their current squad. I still don't think they're as good as they were in 2018 & definitely don't have the same depth in their squad. But for sure they'll always churn out good players to a League A/B standard. Their starting midfield is still world class as well - Modric, Brozovic, Kovacic Modric 152 caps now! What a legend! |

Drew with Belgium and within a squeak of taking at least a point from the Dutch (who many seem to rate as the best in Europe currently). Player for player yes probably league B material, but in terms of on the pitch we haven’t disgraced ourselves so have a fair claim to be a worthy league A side. |

I think we’ve genuinely been a bit unfortunate rather than out of our depth. Provided there is some continuity after the World Cup I’d favour us to return to league A again. |
