Seems we’re not getting a full World Cup section in the panini sticker album but according to them we ‘appear in the contenders section’ due to our late qualification ☹️
Nice of them …..not
Blame Putin I suppose
I know it’s not the end of the world but it would have been nice to see us in there.

Sad times |

Panini is much bigger in Guatemala than the UK. Official Panini press release today. Album and stickers out on Sept 1st. 638 stickers on total and 32 teams represented. You won’t be seeing Ukraine, Scotland or Peru that’s for sure!!!

Yay - that hopefully puts people's minds at rest that Cymru will be there in Qatar in person, but also in sticker book immortality too !! From the headline picture in that Nation.Cymru article we're sandwiched between Iran in our group, and Argentina in Group C. And Wayne, Ethan, Ben and Connor certs for the sticker pack.
I remember an audio clip of Brooks and Lockyear talking about the album before the last tournament...I wonder whether either will make it in the 2022 version.....

I know I’ll get slated for this but I haven’t the time or energy to buy and swop stickers so I bought the completed album on eBay.
The stickers are loose so at least I get the pressure of sticking them in.
I just want the completed album as a keep sake.
It should be a lot cheaper this way too.

Interesting, I had two of the ten packs and they were useless, a ridiculous number of doubles to the extent that it seemed deliberate. I got some loose packs today and barely had any swaps from those. Drop me a message when you're up for some swaps, I've updated my list above but it'll likely change again before too long... |
