A few I know who are red wall members couldn't buy them, (They have now), yet were able to buy Belgium tickets on Wednesday. There must have been a glitch in the system. I tried out of curiosity and I couldn't buy. I can now though. Odd.

Guessing the FAW will have to put on a minute's silence at the CCS given she was a patron? If so it's going to be kind of awkward as I don't think many people will want that and could be some booing. On the other side of the debate I'm sure quite a few will see it as disrespectful to boo. Not sure how that one is going to play out

Well I mean the monarchy beheaded Welsh rulers and paraded them around the streets of London & upheld their rule since then - not very classy either! I get why people would boo, it's a divisive issue to be honest. I wouldn't personally but I think it will be a strange moment in the stadium

She seemed to be a flawed individual in her latter years with the controversy over her son, but she doesnât bear the blood of Welsh people on her hands. Best to just turn your back if you feel that strongly about it. Not trying to defend the institution, for the record, Iâm fed up of the royal family and could do without this distraction that will no doubt be weaponised by Westminster to distract from the social turmoil at the moment. But itâs a moment of silence for an old woman, as jbt said booing would show a lack of class.

To be honest I agree with you regarding holding what happened to the Welsh rules of 600 years ago against her. Thereâs enough to hold against her that she actually did in her lifetime tbh. Her and her family have upheld the system of colonialism and class inequality that made them so wealthy in the first place. The royal family are pure evil but have the best PR team in history. I think turning our backs is a good idea rather than booing. Itâs what Iâll be doing but I donât blame others who will boo. But I do think itâll cause division

Thereâs going to be a party atmosphere with it being the last home game before the boys head off to the World Cup. To interrupt it with any sort of charade for a dead monarch next door is bound to piss off a lot of people.
I canât be the only one to find the phrase âlacks classâ grating when discussing us commoners reaction to the death of a blue blood. If people choose to ignore it by continuing to chat with their mates for example, where does that sit on the âclassâ barometer? That question goes out to the holier than thou amongst us.

The Royal Family wouldnât piss on âcommonersâ if they were on fire. Theyâd probably add more petrol to it if anything (being the only ones who could actually afford it). Not that theyâd actually have to deal with any consequences thanks to their famous and well-used brown envelopes.
Boot-licking-o-meter is off the scale. People really like being treated as lesser beings. A bemusing mentality. Iâm bracing myself for another P*W investiture. Diabolical.
Hereâs hoping for a never-ending rendition of Viva Gareth Bale come late September.

New from Buckingham Palace today (Friday, 09/09/22 - 9am)
- King Charles III has instructed a period of royal mourning from now until seven days after Elizabeth II's funeral - date to be confirmed.
- Flags at all royal residences will remain at half mast until 8am the day after mourning
Q: WILL THIS AFFECT OUR BELGIUM & POLAND GAMES?

Our home game is more than two weeks away so no Yes, but the post says a period of mourning for 7 days after the funeral, which won't be for another week. Pretty sure the game won't be delayed as it's a UEFA event, the only impact will probably be some pompous shit that we'll just have to put up with

Just read that when the last monarch died in 1952, football and other sport continued without anyone feeling the need to âmournâ for weeks.

I'm just referencing that as the starting point, obviously don't hold that action over her head, but that institution has continued to do awful things to us and the world since then I can see why people might say it lacks class, but I don't feel like acting classy when it comes to the monarchy because they have not been classy towards us. Ultimately I'm not going to boo, I would rather do a more civilised form of protest, but I do feel protesting it is important and something that could be a bit mess if proper forethought isn't given to it

We no longer have to doff bucket hats, and are not quite the majority submissive population we were in 1969.

I popped into the bookies earlier and this was the betting -
Shaking S - Evens Some Greek / German who supports England at the World Cup 2/1 Aaron 'Union Jack' Ramsey - 3/1 Derek Brockway - 4/1 Andy KING - 7/1 Noel from Hearsay - 9/1 Ryan Giggs + Imogen Thomas - 69/1 David Cotterill - (no bets taken as has already declared himself the master of the universe)
EDIT: Shaking Stevens wasn't at Evens, just my poor eyesight.
