The polish team just seem to be their national mindset in a nutshell,tough as old boots and never stop fighting,but yes we let them off big time that night,hope they win all their games and are the surprise team if the tournament

Up until this tournament I would say that Poland and Wales have been very equal, with small margins perhaps favouring Poland.

Am aware that we haven't beaten them in recent games but I think that gives false impression when looking at each game.

So much of football seems to be about experience, confidence and form. We seem to be on the downward track in terms of confidence and are missing out on this experience, Poland might be pulling in the opposite direction.

Albania we're OK but I think we would be favourites against them. Poland were better than expected but we would still be pretty much 50 50 up against them. But we'll never know.

Lol, unremarkable would be a slight understatement. She told us very little about the players, seemed slow to react to what was happening etc. At times it sounded like someone had won a prize to try some commentary on a gameshow or something.

On paper, they have been gifted a lucky draw. If they win this group (Slovenia and Denmark don't look great) they're one of the teams who play a third place side rather than runner up, and then a runner up rather than a group winner in the quarter-final.

Winner of Group F is the mirror of this.

This after easier World Cup 2018 draw, one away game without too much travel for Euro 2020 (and laser pointer in Kasper Schmeichal's eyes) and relatively easier draw in World Cup 2022.

Personally looking forward to all those online Arsenal/Liverpool/man united fans talking about Man City's 115 charges and Russian oligarch's money in Chelsea to connect the dots and work out how England have become better as a national side. Admittedly this wealth does trickle down, in much lesser extent, to us too.
