Struggling to see who will play as a left sided CB if Davies isn't on the pitch? Maybe Mepham?
vs Gibraltar A.Davies Cabango-Low-Mepham Stevens-Sheehan-Savage-Dasilva Colwill-Matondo Cullen
I'd probably give Koumas a half & Crew 20 minutes in this one
vs Slovakia
Ward Cabango-Low-Davies Burns-JJ-Sheehan-Dasilva Colwill-Broadhead Brennan

Appears to have called up Matt Baker but no idea where in defence he plays.

Is Luca Hoole injured? Would have thought he'd be in to cover CB and RB

I can only assume this will be a very young and inexperienced side and Sheehan has only been picked as captain because he's the eldest/most experienced of the lot? Still, quite a sorry state of affairs that we're picking a 5-cap 29 year old from League One as captain.

Don't know who else it'd be? Must be quite an inexperienced squad I'd imagine.
Davies
Baker Cabango Low
Stevens Savage Sheehan DaSilva
Colwill Matondo
Cullen
From that team only.other obvious candidates are Davies and Cabango

Imagine we lose to fucking Gibralter!! Also we debate in here about weather league one players should even be in the squad and page goes and makes one captain.

Surprising but I think think it's just going to be a reflection of thr lineup - Sheehan will probs be the oldest and most experienced. Nothing wrong with that

I don't think we will but let's be honest losing to Gibraltar isn't a "So what?" it would be deeply humiliating With our C team in a meaningless friendly? Not really At what point is it humiliating then, if the B team lose? A slightly rotated first team? This is a team that's won 8 games and doesn't even have an EFL regular in its ranks. Even our supposed C team has Championship regulars and players who've scored in European football It's purely hypothetical that we'll lose and I don't think we will so I won't go on, but I find your assertion that losing to them wouldn't be humiliating and is a case of "So what?" baffling to say the least

What material impact would losing actually have? A minority of Welsh fans will even watch this game, it has no impact on our qualification chances. I can't see any material harm coming from a defeat really

If anyone doesn’t think it would be embarrassing to lose to Gibraltar they need to give their head a wobble. Hopefully some of them youngsters can put on a show for us and it will also be nice to see some older players make their debuts. Saying that they will be disappointed afterwards to not be awarded a cap because it’s a C international.

How on earth you award it to a player of limited ability with little ability who is getting on and playing in division two is beyond me This reflects why I just think Page is not fit to be an international manager - no consistency and I know from his decision that Josh is a really nice guy, in contrast to someone like Sorba who is upset at not getting a chance rather than accepting Just counting down the days and hoping we get a half decent manager to replace him

Someone will know the answer but I hope this is not a totally sentimental decision that does not consider the need for leadership if we somehow are struggling or trailing with time running out

You stick up for them no matter what…. so what the water is choppy.. so what we have a leaky boat….. so what we have a dodgy captain….so what we are taking on water….who cares!!

You stick up for them no matter what…. so what the water is choppy.. so what we have a leaky boat….. so what we have a dodgy captain….so what we are taking on water….who cares!! At the point that it's actually warranted. Your analogy falls flat when you're crying about choppy water on relatively flat water. Imagine this...we finish 5th in our World Cup qualification group and get relegated to League C in the Nations League - that's an actual disaster that deserves the level of criticism you're talking about But what is it that you're crying about? Missing out on penalties to qualify for a tournament against a team that have better players than us, and hypothetically losing a C friendly to poor opposition - yeah that's worth getting all worked up about! Give me a break!
