Heard in the Canton last night: 'What's that coming over the hill? Its Brennan Johnson....its Brennan Johnson!' I can see that one sticking We need more upbeat songs like this imo! All the hymns, the anthem, yma o hyd, dooont taakke me homme etc sound good but they're a bit sloooww... Always thought songs like HRK (salt n peppa, push it) would stick long after the players retired! Ain't nobody ... like Joe ledley! More fun songs like this would be good I think 😄 Waka Waka is a good addition tbf. How about something like "Cymru rhydd, Cwpan y byd! Cymru rhydd, cwpan y byd!!" to this tune ? youtu.be/7CjLhmCg_9sOr "Bant a ni, Cwpan Y byd..." any other suggestions? haha |

Waka waka is brilliant. I love that the players started the chant and spread it to the fans that night on Womanby Street.
The Dutch were lapping it up in the nights before and after the game as well, joining in to such an extent I'm concerned they may nick it off us!

Yes the Tram back to Rotterdam Central was bouncing with Dutch and Cymru singing Waka Waka in unison! I think they liked us.

Anyone else think with the welsh language growing throughout Welsh football we should be chanting 'cymru, cymru' instead of 'wales, wales' Why not both, at different times during the match? |
