Interesting that Connah's Quay are playing at Bangor too, rather than TNS.

Heartbreaking for Bala
Still some coefficient points though, that'll help the league

Gutting. They’ll still get positive coefficient points for the away win in 90 mins right?

And now the Nomads get pegged back in the 89th minute!!

Probably the winner there for Bravo from a free kick that shouldn't have been given
Cruel game

Amateurish from Gibson not bringing a defender on to replace Edwards who clearly couldn't continue.
The case for summer football is strengthened again, with late goals doing for Bala and Connah's Quay.

Fitness is the issue here. Cymru Premier sides are at a disadvantage because they play their European games before the season starts. Pretty obvious really. I would go for a lengthy post-Xmas break myself, so that the season ends in late June. The sides competing in Europe would then just continue through and wouldn't flag late on in games as we saw with Connahs Quay and Bala.

I think you are missing the salient point that the team Connah's Quay were playing haven't started their season yet. But hey, why let facts get in the way of the "I don't watch Welsh league football but it should be in the summer" brigade.

I'd imagine the fitness difference is down to them playing professional opposition as part timers Bravo had a full Slovenian international in their squad!

Gutting
probably another year without 4 clubs given that Montenegro are one spot behind us in the rankings but have all their clubs left in Europe too

Gutting probably another year without 4 clubs given that Montenegro are one spot behind us in the rankings but have all their clubs left in Europe too TNS knocked out their Champions and if they lose all their remaining games (relatively likely) then they won't gain on us. And if TNS get another good result then I don't think they have much chance of overtaking us

If TNS win they have to play either UE Santa Coloma/Midtjylland. If they lose they will have to play either APOEL/Petrocub Hîncești.

APOEL were in the Champions League in recent memory so that will be a tough draw. I think it will all end up being on getting a good draw for the Conference League playoff tbh

What effect will losing to Ferencvaros and the next round have on the coefficient? Will it mean negative points or just no more positive points until they win?
Same goes for Caernarfon against Legia Warsaw

No more positive points until they get a positive result...
It's 1 point for a win, half a point for a draw.. then you divide the total by the number of our teams entering Europe that season..
So far, it's 3 wins and 2 draws, that's 4 points divided by 4 teams = 1 cofficient point gained so far this season, that is well up on last year (0.625 I think it was)..
It's the result after extra time that counts in the 2nd leg... Coefficient points will be hard to come by from here on but if tns can gain a draw in the next 2 ties that would be an extra 0.125 coeff points...

A bridge too far... Apoel or the Moldovan champions in the Europa league next... Moldova 32nd in the association rankings, may be a little easier but realistically it'll probably be the conf league play off round where tns may stand a fighting chance next...

3 nil down in 22 minutes but from then til halftime it was a real game, with TNS even hitting the bar (after top quality football playing out from the back) in 46th minute.
But I think it's fair to say there is a difference in quality and difference in budget. Look at the ground they're playing in!

In commentary they mentioned a number of the Ferencvaros team had just got back from the Euros - different level altogether! TNS definitely unlucky not to at least get a consolation goal too, apart from the shot that hit the bar there was an overhead effort that went just wide which was reminiscent of Bale's Champions league strike against Liverpool - could have been a goal of the season contender had it snuck in...

McManus probably should have scored as well

TNS will now play Petrocub Hincesti, the Moldovan champions. Don’t know much about them but feel it could have been worse. Decent chance to get a result I’d have thought.
Does anyone know what happens if TNS win that but then lose the Europa League play off? Do they still get a chance at Conference League or is that it?
