I had this horrible vision this moring of Johnny Ford on the phone discussing terms with Bryan Robson...
I know people seem to think it's nailed on Flynn's going to get the job, but this is the FAW we're talking about here. These are the people who appointed Bobby Ghoul (yes, a lot of them are still there), these are the people who've already overlooked Flynn for the job twice and didn't even give him an interview last time, even when Saunders was shortlisted(!) I have to say I'm nervous...

sorry flynnfan i dont think bryan robson would be the worst case scenario i think appointing roy evans or even (gulp) dean saunders would be the worst possible outcome
i dont think flynn is nailed to get the job the FAW seem set on giggsy- becuase he would be the'popular' decision even though anybody reasonable would tell you that flynn is the man.
but i see what you mean with the FAW there are 5 or 6 decent enough candiddates (ones who you could make a good case for) yet i fear they will appoint some muppet who nobody apart from them would even think twice about

There doesn't appear to be any strong hints about anyone does there. No anoouncement to morrow methinks. Announcement of Flynn or Saunders as a caretaker could be the most we could expect.

Oh you are all right to be afraid.
A recent article by the BBC commenting on toshs resignation claimed that sources close to the faw say that he is still under no pressure to quit!! They still want him at the helm!
What does the welsh manager have to do to get the sack? It seems the faw have no standards or criteria to judge success....either that or (as I believe they couldn't give a toss about results.)
We should be very scared because on current form if they give the job to Saunders then he will basically have a job for life. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they make no decision at all and we don't actually have a manager after tosh leaves.
Is it just me or does supporting wales at football feel like supporting a clubside like Chester, who are owned by people who couldn't give a damn and are running the whole thing into the ground. And nobody cares because the support is so small that nothing can really be done about it.
I'm sure all of us on here can see that things are badly wrong and we all have ideas about how to put that right, the faw give the impression that nothing is wrong and tosh has done a great job. They know absolutely nothing about football. Maybe the problem isn't the manager or the players, it's the people at the top who couldn't organize a ****-up in a brewery and can't be trusted to appoint a man to get the best out of the players along with having a realistic plan of how to go about it.
