Ok, now that Tosh has gone and we've got Flynn in for the next two games ;D, what does everyone think the expected crowd will be? Also given that Bellamy has made CCFC his new 'temporary' home, played well so far, should this help bring the fans back? I'll be dissapointed if there isn't at least 15,000 there......however the ticketing policy may cause havoc!!! Id imagine that the FAW would expect a sell out given that were not playing at the MS, but it doesn't quite work like that.......

Should get 20,000 for the Bulgaria home game. It's a competitive international and we're still in the group (albeit only just and we need a win from this game). Plus we're at Cardiff's stadium which will probably draw some of their fans to the game to see Bellamy play.

10,000?! That would be rubbish. I'd disappointed with anything less than 20,000. How many did we get for the Finland game? around 25,000 wasn't it? Why shouldn't this game get a similar attendance? Similar importance, similar quality opposition etc. The FAW will need to have a good long look at themselves if they can't manage to muster a similar attendence to what Cardiff get on average..

I'd expect that as a minimum against Bulgaria, given that they are a bigger football nation than Azerbaijan. If we're serious about the England game going to Cardiff City Stadium then we need to break the 20,000 mark surely?

against the azeri we had a chance of qualifying most would say we are effectivley out of the group are we really "effectively out"? 7 games to go, 4 home matches left, second place needed for the play-offs, with both the second and third seeds having already lost at home...

ok most fans having already given up on hope of qualification yeah and those fans dont deserve to call themselves fans if thats their attitude yes, I seem to remember us losing 1-5 to Romania AND 0-2 to Belgium in 2 of our opening 4 qualifiers for the 94 World Cup... Don't seem to remember fans giving up on qualification then

The FAW should put out a statement saying the first 20,000 people to buy a ticket for the Bulgaria match will be guaranteed a ticket for the England home match (even if played at Cardiff City). So only tournament ticket holders, gold and silver membership and Bulgaria ticket applicants will be guaranteed an England ticket. Watch the Bulgaria tickets fly out then.

A lot will buy the tickets to the Bulgaria game, then just not turn up. Guaranteed ticket to see Rooney and Gerrard in the bag.
It's wrong, but it's what will happen.

I don't think that many would buy a ticket and then not bother turning up, cardibach. We're not talking thousands are we? SO say its only 200 or so (much more likely imo) then its not going to dramatically affect the attendance and atmosphere for Bulgaria.
Even if they don't go through witht a scheme to give priortity for the England game to those with tix for Bulgaria, they should still come out in the press and say they are considering it. ..Bananaman will shit stir in the 'fail (watch him go!) and then watch them tickets go! Simple really. Wonder if the FAW have even thought of that though?

ok most fans having already given up on hope of qualification most of them would rather watch england , which pisses me off so much. All jump on the band wagon if we are winning though its the same as the rugby fans half of them just use it as an excuse for a piss up especially the fat little bints with their brains tops on out on the piss every time theres a rugby international.

You're right. Most of them don't go anywhere near a game by their local village side the rest of the season

The Swiss have done the same for us haven't they? If you bought a ticket for England then you had to buy a ticket for us?

I reckon we'll easily get 15,000. 20,000 ought to be our minimum target, really.

As I stated before , I'd be disappointed with less than 20,000. Really, this should be an easy match for the FAW to sell out though. We've got England next home game. All they need to do is give priority for that match to those who got to the Bulgaria game. Piece of piss.

Ticket sales have now passed 9,000 according to the FAW.
Early bird tickets on sale until Thursday. Really we need a big marketing push now to get all the £15 and £5 early bird tickets sold before then.

If ticket sales continue to be this slow, and with no Bellars now, the FAW really needs to come out and say anyone going to this game will have priority for the England match. As has been pointed out, the Swiss did it with us/England. Why can't the FAW?!
