Burnley's goalkeeping coaching does seem to be good, but I wouldn't expect him to feature for them.

I saw an article saying Chelsea were interested in him as back up. If he’s going to just be a sub keeper might as well go to a massive club to be one.

London wages as well Realistically Hennessey's not getting the number 1 shirt off Pope and I imagine Burnley will be more interested in developing Peacock-Farrell

Hennessey would get the odd appearance in cup games, maybe a couple maximum in the premiership - unless Pope gets injured. If Wayne wants to push Danny Ward all the way for the number 1 Jersey he will have to drop down to the Championship for regular first team game time.

Rubbish goalkeeper.

Burnley are keen to get Peacock-Farrell out on loan for the season, however they rejected an offer from Sheffield Wednesday because they think he is capable of playing at a higher standard than League One. If Peacock-Farrell does end up leaving, that leaves Pope and Hennessey as the two main goalkeepers in Dyche's plans for the season which makes me feel better about the move from Hennessey's perspective.

Still wouldn't expect him to play too often for Burnley. They barely rotate and don't go far in the cups either.
We've got the likes of Danny Ward, Adam Davies, Dan Barden, Chris Maxwell, Owen Evans and Tom King who will all hopefully (touch wood) will be playing regularly for their respective clubs next season in goal.

There is an article on him in the Mirror. They misspelled his surname and stated he was Wales' most capped player - obviously forgot about Gunter, didn't they?
Anyway, within the article Wayne has "warned" that he is "after his (Pope's) job as first-choice goalkeeper".
Although it is disappointing to see he has not joined a team to be an out and out number one, it is nice to see he will have a decent chance of playing time, in my opinion.
He is still as good as he ever has been.

Burnley goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell has now joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan for the season. Excellent news for Wayne.

I was, and still am baffled by Page's' decision to give Ward the #1 shirt, Hennessey is still the superior keeper.
Seems he did a lot more than save two pens as well, this from the BBC report:
'But the game improved markedly after the break - had it not been for Hennessey's heroics Burnley would have been well beaten.'

I was a critic of Ward but he's been the standout player over the year for Wales. I like Hennessey and the more he pushes Ward the better. But for me Ward is our number 1.

Danny did have a great Euros to be fair. Just a shame he and the others don't get more 1st team club starts. I wasn't keen on Ward prior to the Euros but he proved to be a major player for us there. Hard to separate him and Wayne now.

I agree that Ward had a good Euro's, and probably our best player overall, but four good games doesn't make him no1 in my opinion. Hennessey has never let us down and has produced match saving performances many a time now.
I still find Hennessey much more of a commanding presence, and has better distribution.

Started against Leeds today. I watched most of the second half and he did fine without being overly busy. Some hyper-critics would probably say that he should have saved James' header but that would be harsh in my opinion.

He will get 100 Caps for Cymru on Tuesday. Any favourite Wayne moments? I remember he played his part in the 0-0 scrap against Bosnia in the Euro 2016 qualifier at home. It was a result that gave Wales a lot of confidence and it was a physical affair. Wayne had a great night. Big save against Dzeko.
Congrats Wayne! llongyfarchiadau!!!
