Yep even Wales fans are now uncle toms. Are we all uncle tom's then? This witch hunt is turning into a sad joke. Like they didn't know that we would have extra fans during the good times, what team doesn't? Calm down richie and have a nice cup of tea - its a bit of fun. On the balance of the evidence, Kinnock whilst being nauseating to many due to political hypocrisy, appears not to be an Uncle Tom in this instance. I am calm, its just stretching to people who actually do care about the team now though.

Neil Kinnock narrated BBC Wales' six part radio series on the history of Welsh international football. That's a good example of him being in the media talking about it. It was broadcast in 2008. Here's the link (the programmes aren't online any more sadly): www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b009nsxs/episodes/guideI'm sorry but if you're going to start labelling Kinnock as a bandwagon jumper on the basis of not finding any quotes in a brief Internet search, then pretty much no-one is safe. Yep even Wales fans are now uncle toms. Are we all uncle tom's then? This witch hunt is turning into a sad joke. Like they didn't know that we would have extra fans during the good times, what team doesn't? Agree, nothing wrong with crowds filling up the CCs and thousands heading for France, as long as loyal fans who went at bad times get priority

What punishments are these traitorous uncle tom's or the other categories going to receive if any? Does the crowd sing derogatory songs about them? or do they get pelted with eggs or rotten fruit?

This thread makes me feel like we're in some futuristic Soviet style Orwellian dystopia.
"Come on everyone, let's organise a witch hunt where we denounce fellow Welshmen for future thought crimes based on no evidence whatsoever! Guilty until proven innocent! Two legs bad, four legs good!"

Deport them to England. Failing that, Rhyl.

Anyone who has ever been in the Armed Forces and pledged allegiance to the Queen can not go to the Euros.
Anyone who has ever voted labour or conservative in their life can not go to the Euros.

how has no one mentioned lisa rogers? Somehow, I forgot about her. She has done many a turn on the TV cheerleading for Mother England during World Cups and Euro finals. Whilst in the main this thread is a bit of fun she is one person I would be really annoyed to see on TV cheerleading for Wales in a finals.

Ex-Swan and Bluebird Dai Thomas is without question the stupidest Uncle Tom and a great example of how being a fat cunt is not necessarily an impediment to becoming a professional footballer.

Griff Rhys Jones. Three Welsh names, but about as Welsh as the three feathers on the egg team's jersey. I do love how we on our badge have 11 Daffodils and the Welsh dragon, two true icons of our country, together with a moto in Welsh, our language. The rugby have no Welsh emblems or symbols and a 3 letter abbreviation in English. +3 to the FAW.

So glad to see Apostle's equivalent of the McCarthy Witch Hunt revived. Some of the more high profile names in this thread will be doing punditry work from a Wales perspective next summer, this thread should serve as a reminder that they are in no position to do so.

My biggest bugbear is these assholes going to the cricket, referring to England as 'we' and wearing the three lions, just cos they paid us lip service and put the '...and Wales' at the end of their name. Does my head in and I get shot down for shouting for the Aussies. (And nz, India, Sri Lanka, pakistan!!)
God I'd love to see the Aussies get these runs!

I saw a guy in Cardiff last night wearing an England cricket shirt & a WRU ruck-sack, You would never see a Welsh football fan wearing anything England related, but the eggers do tend to sell their soul a lot more than us, they always have done.

I wouldn't class all the rugby in with that, but I know what you mean- I'm actually a big rugby fan as well (sorry!!) But this attitude is especially evident when the lions are touring. (I've actually fallen out with a mate for cheering on NZ!)
The cricket is probably my most disliked English team- and I'm expected to support them. Being a Glamorgan fan -it's disgusting that we've basically crippled ourselves financially so England can play a home game in f'ing Wales.
Don't get me started on the f'ing barmy army....!!
