UPWARDS AND ONWARDS - GREAT NEWS! Chuffed for her. Does anyone know how this might affect us in Wales? Will having Welsh representation mean we get more of a voice in terms of fixtures etc. for example? |

I don’t think the process that is the ‘fixtures meeting’ can be interfered with, unless there is genuine disagreement between all parties, then UEFA would need to intervene.
I actually think our fixtures work out well in this group, getting Croatia away played first & subsequently getting something from it looks like a masterstroke, particularly as the Croatians then went to Turkey desperate for a win, which they duly got.
We’ve got Croatia at home as a single fixture after they’ve played Turkey at home & we then play our final game at home to Turkey, which could be winner takes all, but it may be that we only need a point & they need more.
The only downside is that we would have had to travel to & from Armenia before that final game - see RoI in 2017 after coming back from Georgia.
