King did the job he was asked to do. Far from spectacular but a valuable squad member, always has been.

I thought he was superb last night, as was Dave Edwards - when King came on it gave Rambo the freedom he needed further forward. GET. IN. Completely agree. King also plays at a higher tempo, perhaps something from his club training. I wrote in more detail about King's introduction if you want to read about it : patternofplay.blogspot.com/

King had a n excellent game, added real solidity to the midfield, even though not a huge fan of Edwards, though he was superb on Saturday. Though very exposed in first half (not his fault).

Brilliant again against Georgia. Agree. Probably one of his best performances in a wales shirt. Very assured. He did miss a decent chance, though

Very good performance. Played 1000000x better than Ledley.

Surely King and Ledley is a very slow midfield combination. Only one please. Based on Georgia, that has to be King

I wouldn't go as far to say he was brilliant but he put in a shift and did his duty. Maybe I'm being harsh but his attempt at that volley was pretty awful for a player of his stature.

Very very average performance from King today against Fleetwood. I think his Premier League days are numbered on that showing.

On his way to Swansea according to SSN I REALLY hope this isn't true. Just a few hours ago we were being strongly linked with Andre SchΓΌrrle!

Damn, I hope my complaint about Swansea having no Welsh players won't come back to haunt me. I want them to have Welsh players, but not Andy King! It might be slightly harsh as he always turns up for us, but I really hope we're coming to the end of his involvement with Wales and I don't think he'll do anything to improve Swansea's chances of staying up - he might just do the opposite!

I think it would be a good signing, he needs games, and is a consistently solid player, never gonna pull up trees, but wont let you down either.

Still can't figure out what he offers - he doesn't get on the ball much, he doesn't break up play or create much either. He doesn't even score goals on any sort of regular basis, which is one thing he did provide in his early days. To me, he's just a passenger and it's not much different to playing with ten men. To justify a place in midfield, you either should be a destroyer (like casemeiro, or ledley for us), a distributor (like Allen), a creative/flair player (like ramsey). He offers none of those, so what does he do?

Championship standard player at best. Shouldn't be anywhere near a Premier League starting XI or a Wales starting XI. We need to move on from him now.

Compare him to Allen and you notice how he does not read the game very well - tracking players, off the ball movement etc

Why compare to Allen
Compare to Clucas, Fer and Ki
King is as good as these players, he has scored over 50 senior goals and played over 300 games. He also has over 40 caps.
I'm not a massive fan but the criticism is a tad unfair, how many of the above have won a premier league medal and gone to a major finals with their country.
Good Luck Andy, nice to see a welsh player playing in Wales

The majority of his goal count came from League 1 and Championship, the latter being where I think his level is. Oh, agreed, nice to see a Welsh international name at the Swans.
