From BBC- Aaron Ramsey had five shots in his first game under Bellamy against Turkey, more than he managed in any appearance under either Ryan Giggs or Rob Page; it was his most in a Wales game since September 2017 against Moldova (10 under manager Chris Coleman). 10 against Moldova! Jeez!

2 more goals and Rambo is our 3rd highest goalscorer of all time. You feel that under Bellamy he will probably do it this campaign (he could even do it tonight, who knows!). He would need a further 6 after that to make it into 2nd ahead of Rush. Sounds a tough ask, but if we become more free scoring over these next few years and he keeps himself fit I think it's do-able

Misses the rest of the Nations League then. That could be his chance for 100 caps done as well, such a shame
Need to see the likes of Brooks & Wilson stepping up without him

Disappointed for him as much as anything else. He looked really useful against Turkey so I wanted to see more of him under Bellamy soon.

I think we need to accept that Ramsey isn't going to be an option going forward. If he somehow ends up fit and playing well then he should be treated as a welcome bonus.

Got to make Davies permanent captain now, it's over. I love Ramsey but his body just can't handle it.

In retrospect, sending him onto that pitch probably wasn't the best idea and maybe a little naïve of Bellamy considering Rambo's injury history

Agreed, really got to manage him better. He was on the back of playing 4 full 90 minute matches for Cardiff too, the most he'd played consecutively for a long time. Personally if he's played a full ninety for Wales and we've got a game few days later you've got to leave him out if you can help it.

update on Ramsey-from Riza
“Rambo’s been running — I was watching him running today — at three-quarter pace, he's not done any sprinting yet," Riza said. "So, potentially after the next international break, he could be back in and in a good place.”
Potential return: Sheffield Wednesday – November 23

I got the impression Carragher was trying to help him along by bringing some personality out as being quite softly spoken and new to the world of punditry he’s not immediately a natural fit for TV. From the bit I watched about his early years he didn’t really get beyond stating what you would expect (phoned his dad after being called up by Cardiff, was good at sport at school etc). Mind you a lack of personality is also a consequence of bland questioning and he wasn’t helped in that respect.

He did come across as quite reserved but it didn't exactly help that they started asking him about Tuchel and the England team, can't blaming him for not giving a shit.

He always comes across as a boring man. Whether he is or not does not concern me. But I doubt he has a massive future as a pundit outside of S4C.

Enjoyed the interview. Ramsey has always been quite an understated, unassuming character off the pitch. Nothing wrong with that. Clearly was a bit uncomfortable and nervous doing it. However his bit about the tackle has stirred Stoke fans. Word of warning, theres some truly deplorable comments on this thread below. I only saw this as I was looking to see what they were saying about Koumas. oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/314711/aaron-ramsey?page=1

However, I know I'd be arguing with a bunch of chimps.

Any CCFC fans know if Aaron will be travelling to Turkey? Pretty sure that he flew out to Armenia last year, despite not being in the squad ;-)
