Ooh interesting and he could do a lot worse.
No mention of whether it is a permanent transfer or a loan?

I’m liking that move, hopefully it comes off. They haven’t many options so hopefully gets game time. Hopefully a permanent move allows him some consistency that he needs to add to his game.

Would be a good move for him. He'd be able to get himself on a lot of set pieces, with big targets to aim at. Hopefully it comes off.

Agree, I think it's a good move, I like Burnley and Dyche.

Probably a good move for him.
Having watched him for a full season, I’m not convinced he’s got enough about him to be a consistently good player at the highest level. If they play him more centrally then maybe, but as a winger? Absolutely not imo.
I don’t want to talk down about him too much because he definitely has good qualities, and he settled into our squad well as a personality, but I think it says a lot about his general performance levels for us that most of our fans feel quite cold towards him, despite being our 2nd highest goal scorer of the season. Burnley and Dyche will probably suit his talents a lot better- just my two cents.

It’s an interesting one. For a while now I’ve said that I think he needs to evolve his game into being an out and out 9 if possible. He’s got such a great strike of the ball & if he could work on his movement and positioning in the box, I see no reason why he couldn’t have a decent goal scoring record for a lot of teams. Aside from his strike of the ball, I don’t see him as that impressive of a player so I think he really needs to become a goal scorer soon or he may face a struggle to stay in the Premier League
Re: Burnley - I can’t think of a single player that has got worse under Dyche. He will be sure to install a good work ethic in him. I can’t see him becoming a silky smooth player under Dyche for obvious reasons, but here’s hoping Dyche has seen what he is & isn’t good at, and has a plan for him

His main weakness for me is that's he's far too easily dispossessed. There have been so many games where attacks break down when the ball's played into him in dangerous areas because he's not good enough at protecting the ball. His technique is incredible, so if he could sort that aspect of his game, it would make a massive difference. He's never going to be the quickest, but if he can look after the ball, find space, and get shots/passess/crosses off he could still be a good premier league player.

A permeant move is definitely a good thing for him, for me whether he is a top end Championship player or can cut it in the Premier league remains to be seen but for us he's going to be a 50/60 capped player by the time he retires barring any disasters, so regular football is important.

Completely agree, I think Moore knocking balls down for Wilson on the edge of the box would be pretty lethal. His best attributes are his shooting, positioning around the box and vision- not being shunted out on the wing with his lack of speed and dribbling.

The problem I've always had with Wilson is that he's never involved enough. I don't know if this comes down to laziness or just poor team play awareness, and perhaps a touch of confidence.
The other issue as someone pointed out above is that he's physically a bit weak, so he needs to work on that area of his game as well.
However a move to Burnley would be excellent. I;d imagine he'll get plenty of game time, and the location probably suits him personally.

Claimed to be circa £20m. I just hope that his agent has been better at negotiating his weekly salary, cus he has been making minimum wage at L'pool...

Surprising, but very good for him. It gets him some competitive football under his belt before next week, and allows himself to potentially put himself in the shop window.

He’s playing on the left of a midfield 3. Has he played that deep before? I assume he’s just being played there to fill a hole, but it’ll be interesting to see how he does.

The twitterati seem to think he's been really poor, but I've actually been pleasantly surprised. He's looked tidy on the ball including some nice, sharp passing and one or two decent runs. He may have a future in that position, provided that he's part of a midfield three of course.
Having said all that, he's still not imposing himself on the game nearly enough. He needs to do more to find space and get on the ball.

I think it's been a classic Harry Wilson performance, very anonymous and not doing hardly enough to get involved. This is why he's nowhere near a starting player for us imo.

I don't know what seems to be happening, but watching these shoot outs this season and the only players I want to score (ex Swans/Liverpool) end up missing decisive penalties.
Harry Wilson, Wayne Hennessey, Brandon Cooper, Oli McBurnie, Rhian Brewster

What do we think? Tokenistic appearance to give him his first ever competitive Liverpool start as a thank you for your service before you go to Burnley? Or Shaqiri's off so now we need to keep you?
Verdict?

Arghhhh.......just looked on Twitter.
I like how he's played one senior game for them (not counting that one 4 years ago) and he's already being told to fuck off.
He was facing an impossible task tonight. Imagine having to desperately impress a club that have shown absolutely no interest in you over the past 5 years. Poor player management, and deserves better. Liverpool have pissed him around too much.
