Hi everyone. My son and I have just received our Access Codes to apply for tickets. We are Gold Members and both have the TT for this European qualifying campaign and a couple of away matches (Israel and Cyprus). We want to maximise our chances of attending all Group games in France. Does anyone have any advice regarding the two following questions:
1) Should we apply for all three individual matches or the FYT option? 2) Based on the above, should we both apply for 1 or 2 tickets each? Will be be dissadvantaged if we both apply for 2 tickets each?
Thanks everyone.

No one seems 100% sure of the answers to these questions, I'm in no hurry to get my application in, gonna wait and see if any more info comes to light, unlikely I know

Why don't they just give tickets to Gold members in alphabetical order of their first names?
Ok, some people who went to all the away games might miss out if they have run out of tickets by the time they get to their name, but that's how luck goes.

Signed Adrian Makes a mockery of the system if your application depends on your parents surname or what name they decided to give you! That is why the FAW have a system put in place. Otherwise my comments would be exported for a stupid comment.

All it says is that you have until the 18th January to apply and you will not be penalised at all for doing it late or gain an advantage from doing it straight away. I'll probably hold off until closer to Christmas.

Something that slightly confuses me...
The UEFA website currently allows you to price up your options. I've just done a dummy run of the 3 group games and the round of 16, and the prices were as expected. Not a problem so far...
However, under the follow your team tickets, it says "Tickets will be allocated on single match basis" and under individual match tickets it states "Tickets will be allocated as one combined product". Am I right in reading that as you will either get EVERYTHING you apply for or NOTHING at all? It doesn't sound like they might only allocate you some of what you want, so with that in mind I'm not sure if I should even bother trying for England tickets (I SHOULD be OK getting hold of them, but if not getting them means I get nothing at all, I won't take the risk) if it will mess up the entire allocation.
Any possibility if someone could please clarify? If is IS possible to apply for all 3 group games and only get one or two, I'd be happier applying, but as it stands it's a bit confusing and potentially a little worrying!

Yeah, to say I don't know what to do would be an understatement, head is gone!! Think I'm right in saying that if I apply for a FYT ticket and I'm not succesful then I've got no tickets unless I can grab some through the resale portal which is pretty unlikely for the England game?

Let's hope the FAW put out some more details or FAQS about all this. I won't be rushing to get my application in just yet.

Could do with BBC Sport getting on the case with this rather than pushing the FAW on potential friendlies..... the application process is as clear as mud and we all want to maximise our chances of getting tickets.
My pal is non-member but goes to home games (and aways pre this last tournament) but if I add him to my application will that prejudice my chance of a ticket because we're going to be oversubscribed?
For what it's worth I can see Slovakia and Russia tickets being available in the general sale so not overly concerned about them whereas the Sais game is gonna be a real toughie.

Lucy sent me this I'll check later with UEFA but as I understand you could get some games and not others, because there are different allocations. I guess combined product means one payment so if payment fails your application is void and you lose everything.

Trying to work out if I'll get what I want in terms of tickets is a real headache. There's a few variables:
1. Size of stadium = FAW allocation 2. How the FAW split their allocation between Follow My Team tickets and individual matches 3. How many members will actually buy 2 tickets (f****ng UEFA) 4. How many tickets will be allocated per pricing category
All unknowns, all adding to the confusion.

I checked out the single matches options for non members. Only tier 1 and 2 available for the Slovakia game ā¬105 i think being the cheapest. Restricted viewing tickets available for the others.

Other parents may have a similar query to this one?
If I were going alone, my instinct would be to go for FYT but two of my children came with me to the qualifiers and would love to come to the Slovakia game, it being the only weekend game of the Group games.
My working assumption is that this pushes me into looking at individual tickets as I would obviously need to sit with them. My queries are:
1) Is my assumption correct and that I cannot purchase a FYT for me and link individual applications for the one game for my children to it? 2) Does the limit to purchasing 2 still apply, even though they are my children and have Junior membership?

I would just love the assurance that if I am unsuccessful in buying tickets for the lower categories, I keep getting bumped up into a section where I am successful, rather than just being bumped up one section and no further after that.

The UEFA FAQs say:
"A Follow My Team package is treated as one set of tickets. This means that you will either get a complete set of requested tickets or your application will be unsuccessful as a whole".
This has basically made the decision for me. I think I will be applying for all three matches individually for myself only, no second ticket as this dilutes my chances. I think this option maximises my chances of attending one or more of the games. Anyone agree?

The single ticket option allows you to book each match up to the final and for those knockout games it says 'conditional' so if Wales don't get there they refund that ticket. And it also gives you the option of choosing different price tickets for each game which follow my team does not.

Alphabetically by town of residence would be the simplest solution. Lots of love from Aberystwyth.

Does anyone know if debit cards are accepted? I just applied for the tickets and paid with my debit card, now i'm worried that it will get cancelled. All it mentions on the site is credit cards, and I don't have one.

It's definitely credit cards only - you can change your application until the window closes but you have to use a credit card

Even though I would love to be behind the goals, I guess the pricier tickets gives me a better chance...

I think very few will apply for 2, which is good for everyone. The only ones who are likely to apply for 2 are those who are out of the loop and thus likely don't have enough loyalty history anyway. Most people with the eligible criteria i.e. the top 3000 - 4000, should be clever enough to apply for just one.

Has anyone else had problems logging in on the UEFA site after applying for tickets? It keeps telling me that my email address isn't registered with UEFA, even though they sent confirmation to that very address last night. This has happened with my brother and another mate also. I emailed UEFA about it, and all those a-holes did was send me a link to their FAQ page which is no help at all. Anyone else experiencing this?

George, I did this then realised I was trying to log into uefa.com and not the ticketing portal. Be sure you are logging in at the ticketing portal not just on uefa.com
