no, rule against that providing there are sufficient funds and the expiry date is after August 2016 UEFA rules state credit card expiry date minimum August 2016. Sorry for being pedantic it's just that my MasterCard credit card expiry date is August 2016, so I hope that's OK. It'll be fine as expiry dates are the last day of the month so August 2016 expiry date will be fine.

Is there any rule against making 2 separate applications with the same credit card? Sorry mate just had this from FAW NEW INFORMATION Question Can you use the same credit card on different ticket applications...maybe for family and friends? Answer They don't recommend multiple use as it will flag up as an irregular transaction. A second payment could be okay but no guarantee. Definitely not for 3,4,5 applications. Our advice is just use it once,

As a student, it's not been wise for me to have had a credit card and with family members going to the Euros too, this is a pissing nightmare. I take it that 'irregular transaction' won't give a second chance, either, and it'll be too late by the time we know?

yes that is my worry mate, it could all go through ok and then at the payment stage there could be a problem with the card, it may be a simple thing like putting the wrong number in or anything and then you could be voided...hopefully the FAW will be able to help in genuine cases like that.

My wife and I have the same credit card as do lots of couples and have used to apply. You can actually see why people stay at home and watch it on tv with a carry out and a biased commentary.

There is no chance of me applying for a ticket with a credit card in my name (I have to use a parent's), so if I miss out on that basis I will be fuming.
What a palaver this is!

I bought tickets in the general ballot using a Visa debit card and all went through fine. Payment was taken once the ballot was completed and confirmation of tickets purchased was received.
I used the same card to apply for some more through the 2nd round of the public ballot although this hasnot been drawn yet.
Loads of my mates did the same. The problem is that UEFA have interpreted Visa/MasterCard as meaning credit card and all the FAs have copied their wording when in fact Visa debit cards are perfectly acceptable.

My credit card isn't accepted cause it expires before Aug 2016. Anyone know whether my application will be rejected if I use someone else's credit card details who has a different surname to me

typical of uefa to make it hard, i can not apply for a credit card either, i think you can use someone elses fine as if you could not would cause chaos , alot of people are upset over this rule. that being said some people in general sale reported debit cards being used but it is strictly credit cards. This is becoming a mission for me as credit card i was going to used runs out in july also , so will need a pal to apply for new one just for this .

I'm applying for my application with my credit card and will then be using one of my other credit cards for my brother's application as he doesn't have one. Hope this will be fine.

It will be ok to use someone elses credit card as long as funds in there. Will use mine for myself now and friends for my son,
Has any one paid for all tickets to the final as this al gets paid for in advance in early February and refunded for tickets we don't qualify for.

Hi all, new to this forum. I applied for my tickets using my HSBC Visa card but when I called the bank to inform them of the possible transaction, they couldn't guarantee the fraud department wouldn't decline it!! Even though I phoned to tell them not to! Tossers. So I cancelled my application, started all over from scratch and used the wife's nat west card instead. She's never had any grief with them. The numpty at customer sevices asked me why I wasn't paying uefa with cash!. Doh! No faith in HSBC.
