Can't happen quickly enough imo, although even living 4.5 hours away from Cardiff I still feel that CCS should be the natural home of our qualifiers. Geography being what it is, if you live on Anglesey or the north west then Wrexham is based in the most inconvenient spot in the north, having to divert off the A55 and still a 90 minute drive away (its no closer than Liverpool), so by no means just around the corner. Still a big improvement though. I hope one day that travel by boat becomes more of an option around Wales than it currently is. You'd think that a fast boat from Holyhead to Cardiff would beat 4.5 hours Would also be good to see more boats going to Cornwall & Brittany as well. Again a boat seems a much more efficient way of travelling given the geography

We have to remember that when we used to watch internationals at Wrexham it was predominantly all standing so crowds over 20k were accommodated. For those of us with long memories you even sent a stamped addressed envelope with your postal order to the FAW office in Wrexham, not Cardiff then, to order your tickets on games that were deemed "all ticket" . I remember being at college in Wrecsam in the late 70’s and dropping off my ticket application for the Scotland game at Anfield through the Wales FA letter box. Got back to the digs and landlady said, the secretary of the Welsh FA came here earlier today and said your postal order wasn’t enough to cover the tickets. You need to call round and pay the difference. Happy days (apart from the result obviously)

Long may it continue. Would be great to play a mens international there at some point in the footballing hotbed that is North Wales. Travesty everything is always down South.

I would think next year we will see a friendly in the north if we are in a five team group or if we are in a six team possibly the lowest seed there, but probably depends on fixture day. If it’s a Tuesday have it up north but if it’s Saturday have it in Cardiff.

I think a decent friendly is probably the way forward for now as the FAW sell a lot of tournament tickets and porting these over from Cardiff to Wrexham and accommodating all the fans could be difficult if the capacity in Wrexham stays as it is? It’s not insurmountable though and could be overcome by knocking a game off the tournament ticket. The North Wales fans deserve a full international.

Full international is still a while away till the Kop is sorted. Even when that is done I wouldn’t think anything more than a friendly would be played up here. As others have said will cause issues with tournament tickets etc

The women's international is fair enough but I can't really see the point of playing U21 or U19 games at the Racecourse. Let's be honest, the attendance will be poor and the few hundred fans will rattle in that arena.
There used to be decent crowds when the U21s used to play out of Nantporth, even with very unsociable kick off times. The north west is an area starved of any professional football and Wrexham is still a fair trek away and hardly convenient to get to, being situated no closer than Liverpool.
Surely going back to Nantporth or even Caernarfon's Oval or the Traeth in Porthmadog would be a better option for such matches? Help out some Welsh pyramid clubs that don't have millionaire owners.
