If Assombalonga is worth £14 million between two championship sides then Lawrence would be close to that ammount i reckon for what he did at Ipswich Town.

Tom played the first half in today's friendly in Hong Kong v WBA. And King came on just before half time. I only saw the last 15 minutes of first half, but Tom wasn't really in the game as most activity was from the right flank. Robson-Kanu was on bench for WBA, but came on after 67 mins Thanks to zenith for the heads up

Hard to know if that means he figures in LCFC's plans or not. Had hopes of him getting a move to one of the newly promoted clubs but not heard much so far.

Mahrez sat next to Tom on the bench in the second half - they seemed very chatty, so maybe they are both coming over to the Arsenal ;-)

Dont want Tom at Arsenal, he will be injured every other week the way they treat their Welsh talent.

I can see Brighton coming straight back down mind, their squad looks very weak.

I can see Brighton coming straight back down mind, their squad looks very weak. Agree on Brighton not lasting to long there like many clubs who promoted...but Tom needs play in top leagues now and alas we not. Needs play regular and build with a team to go up and with derby he could. I thought he would have done this with Cardiff.

Game time is key at this stage in his career, whether in the Prem or Champ he should be playing every game. He's proved he's got the ability to be doing that.

He certainly has not proved himself in the Premier league.

He certainly has not proved himself in the Premier league. Agree with this. Scoring in the Championship is very different to doing it week in week out in the Premier League. We will only know if he gets the chance but for me, a higher end Championship team who are pushing for promotion is more sensible at this stage.

Hardly glowing. He's either moving or will barely feature all season for Leicester.

I would have thought that £8m would be very tempting for a player that only has one year left on his contract. But maybe Shakespeare is doing a Wenger and shutting his eyes to the real world of the market forces? Or maybe he genuinely sees something in the lad?

Apparently Leicester have rejected a £7m bid from DCFC. They're robably hoping to start a small bidding war but would be good for Tom to seal a move before the season kicks off on Saturday.

I don't think they can expect to get any more for him. Shakespeare's already said he wants to see what he can do, hopefully he'll make an impression!

This is 2017 where Swansea demand 50m for Sigurdsson. Anything is possible.
