Although the UEFA email stated clearly that the Paris site is open today (Thursday) from 10am. I am now outside the TOULOUSE VEP (Parc de Expositions - metro Palais de Justice) and it is firmly closed. Here it only opens tomorrow, Friday. I shall try my luck at the Lille VEP tomorrow... Any updates on Paris site and actual block/row allocation, please post here. PARIS map here - www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/competitions/Ticketing/02/37/85/55/2378555_DOWNLOAD.pdf

Does anyone have any information about the Voucher Exchange Point in Lille? I fly Toulouse Lille tomorrow morning and only pull into Paris Gare de Nord at 2pm. Although it is all do-able in 4 hours, i'd rather collect my ticket in Lille... or at least try/beg/plead...

Google Maps seems to imply it's 45 minutes from the VEP in central Paris, to the stadium... It's either two metros or a single bus (number 72 to Porte de Saint-Cloud). Any ideas welcome...

Thanks guys. I'd be really interested to know asap how stringent they are being about the ID checks and what the process is as my wife is not planning to go to the game. I need to work out whether she has to travel to Paris just to pick up the tickets in her name or whether I can pick them up on her behalf. I think a lot of people will be looking to do something similar so hopefully someone on here can get there today. Thanks

Hi Manulike, We spoke on the train platform in Lille before boarding for Lens...Hope your well! Do you reckon the ground is walkable to the fan zone? Some in our party will be in the stadium and others in the fan zone. we obliviously don't want to be to far apart.

Security wise, how different is it from buying a ticket from a stranger off the street

Quite honestly, my dislike of Paris is so intense, the only reason I am going there at 2pm is to minimise my stay there and head back to Lille to watch the Germans on Sunday... I can imagine starting to like the place if the Irish (or the French) beat England there next week and we are there again on 10 July... Until then... Give me Lille any day!

Seems crazy why they couldn't put the ticket exchange at or near the stadium as I expect most people will be picking up their tickets on Saturday before the game (me included!)

My brother bought two tickets and can't make it and UEFA say that he needs to be there with photo ID to pick them up. So I am hoping that if I bring my and his passports along to the ticket office, they will let me have them. It's ridiculous that they refused to change the tickets to my name. Booked flights and a hotel ages ago, and now I can't watch the match on some ridiculous technicality.

I'd probably try and get a ticket in the portal which reopens later to guarantee your seat and then if you do manage to also exchange the voucher you can offload those tickets to other Welsh fans who will be on the hunt for some

I called the Toulouse VEP this morning before flying up to Lille. They said that they don't have the address for the Lille office, but would be happy to exchange the voucher for me in Toulouse! I went to the regulat Ticket Collection point in Lille, next to the stadium, and hey presto, walk in, show my voucher, the lady scans it. Wants to see ID and take a photo. I wanted to offer her marriage, but resisted. Ticket in hand - I am a seriously happy bunny. I love Lille.
By the way, Lille Youth hostels still have availability for 30 June and 1 July. If you say you are Welsh, they will put you in the VIP Suite with our flag :-)

Any ideas welcome... was with one of the FSF guys this morning on the metro. He did the bus ride out earlier and it took an hour from the voucher exchange place. it was a similar time on the metro on the way back. His timings not mine.

The VEP being so far from the stadium is ridiculous. In fact, it's an utter bag of bollocks. If it takes an hour to get there and an hour to get back, plus possibly an hour in the queue tomorrow, then the coach-load I'm coming with are going to be seriously pressed for time to get into the stadium for kick-off.
Added to that, the map UEFA have provided (see link above) is an utter joke.
I really hope the FSF Cymru guys are getting this message across to them.

According to Northern Irish FA there are two voucher exchange points. The theatre in the centre but also the rugby stadium next to Parc Des Princes. So people on coaches direct to stadium won't need to trek to city centre www.irishfa.com/news/2016/june/uefa-euro-2016-procedure-for-ticket-distribution-for-knock-out-stages

The hostel is the official HI hostel on www.hihostels.com - it's €25 per night and they do have doubles and even occasional singles. Lille Stephane Hessel Youth Hostel Address: 235, Boulevard Paul Painlevé, Lille, 59000 see DIRECTIONS Phone: +33972531247 METRO Porte de Valenciennes - exist the metro station walking back in the direction of town/the station. There will e a sign saying "Auberge de Jeunesse". 5 minutes away. IGNORE GOOGLE MAPS, as it misplaced it! Look of UT for a wonderfully futuristic space age super colourful facade...

Just picked up ticket in Paris.
Spoke to supervisor who confirmed that you can pickup tickets from the VEP at the stadium if you are going direct there.
She also confirmed that if you have voucher, copy of passport and a letter ( letter and passport can be scanned on phone) confirming that you are authorised to pickup tickets with same signature on letter as passport then you will be allowed to pickup tickets.
One other thing, use the metro station as the RER is 10 min walk from pickup point.
Hope this helps

I've just discovered that you can change the name of the person collecting the tickets/exchanging the voucher on the 'customer portal' bit on the website. Would this get rid of the need for me to take the passport and letter of authority I have from the person named on the voucher I am intending to exchange? - Go to uefaeuro2016-club.hospitality.uefa.com- Log in using 'My account' on the top-right - After logging in, select 'History' under 'Tickets' on the right of the page - Choose 'See details' - Go the bottom of the page and select 'Change pick-up person' (it'll have an image of a pencil to its left) - Then enter the details of the new person who'll be collecting the ticket(s) - When finished, click 'Save pick-up person' Would it work?

It doesn't allow you to, sadly. Oh well, fingers crossed that the passport and letter of authority are enough.
