Nearly sorted travel to and from Lille, but wanted to know if it's worth going without a ticket? Will there be others like me who might be in the fan zone? Should I try and get a ticket outside the ground?
Any help is appreciated!

I was there at the weekend and had a great time and if it were England would definitely go back - ticket or not. There are some being sold outside the station but if you don't get a match ticket there are 2-3 pubs where the atmosphere was great as well as the fan zone. Lots of Belgians about as well being so close to their border - imagine it will be a fantastic atmosphere and game will be on in fan zone
only down side is that all the bars close literally as the final whistle goes in the centre of town though if you are at the ground I would recommend the Irish times pub near triole station near the ground which was open on Sunday after the Germany game
good luck and hope you enjoy!

Should I try and get a ticket outside the ground? Any help is appreciated! I've spoken to tons of people heading over without a ticket so don't think you'll be alone in the fanzone if you end up there. At all the games there have been tickets available from touts or fans outside. The difficulty with this one is because it's Belgium and it's basically a home game for them their fans will also be on the hunt for tickets outside making them rarer/more expensive than usual

Hello mate, in the past few hours I have been offered 4 tickets for Face Value through various sources, all legit. Before anyone asks they are all taken. However my point is that they are starting to become available. In our group we started with none this morning, now we have 9 tickets, potentially 11. Every game I have been to in France has had ticket availability right up til kick off, so if you are thinking of going, then my advice is definitely do so & you will get something. Good luck.

Can't seem to find any (all the ones I'm offered want €500 each)

I'm in the same boat mate, have decided im going whether or not I have ticket. So far been offered 2 x cat 1 tickets (face value approx £160 each) for £225 each but I only want 1 of them, dont really want the hassle of selling the other.
Not sure if I can can better out there, bit nervous about waiting until the last minute.

Would meet you out in Lille as I'm deffo going now got a bus sorted! Literally haven't seen a single ticket for anything close to face value.

I'd recommend going out there anyway - on our coach out to Paris there were about a dozen lads without tickets. Most of them ended up picking up last minute ones off Viagogo once the prices had dropped and by the time we got off the coach only 2 of them didn't have tickets. I think they went to the fanzones - videos from there looked fantastic - but going by the number of touts on the streets they could have got in as well.

Made my mind up and I'm gonna go there, hopefully I can get a ticket outside the ground..but not willing to pay over £200 for one though.

The England fans with tickets for Friday are now back home & considering their options. Unlike last weekend, they don't have to finance a trip to the other end of France, so they can either offload their tickets for Face Value to fellow football fans (hopeful, but on the evidence of this site, unlikely), sell them & make a slight profit to cover some of their costs, or stitch up fellow football fans with blatant profiteering, largely out of bitterness & spite. The point is, now that the English dust is settling, more tickets are on the market & they will continue to become more plentiful.

Tell me about it mate, had a few messages from English fans and they we're just blatantly selling tickets for a large profit. I hope that there's a few out there that are selling tickets for face value or even close to face value. As the ticket portal has done no good to loyal fans who want to follow their team!

The exception has been our neighbours from over the border who were sneering, arrogant, patronising & obnoxious.Your average England football fan is a wanker & the rest of Europe genuinely dislikes them. All they will take away from this tournament is embarrassment & shame & it couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch.

I'm going to Lille without tickets as well.
Been looking on this board, the Uefa portal, viagogo and ebay, but the ticket prices are still way too high for me (might have been unlucky, but not seen anything under £300 yet!) Also despairing of picking up tickets on the day, as BBC have just reported that 100,000 Belgians could be in Lille as it's so close to the border!
Couple of questions: If we do pick up 2 tickets on the day, what's the score as assuming it will be too late to change names on tickets. Are they not checking ticket names vs ID? Has anybody been turned away?!
If there are no tickets, where are the best bars (in centre)? Where's everyone heading? Couple of mentions of bars above, are these by the station?
Cheers

Cheers If your successful in finding tickets you will be 100% ok about the names, no ID checks done whatsoever at the first four matches that I have been to. As for watching outside (No Tickets) - this is gone to be like Wales playing at Wembley, the amount of Belgium fan that are going to travel 20 odd miles over the boarder for a Friday night out is going to be massive, so the bars/fan zone will be filled with them. I feel this is going to be alot like the Lens match the Welsh will be in the minority. I hope not but that's what I think
