I won't be there but thought I'd share this.
Tuesday 18.10 MAN to MAD to LYON
Arrives 10:30 on Wednesday
Currently this is around £100. There is a 10 hour stopover in Madrid but you find airport accommodation for under 50 quid.
After the game (around 01:30) the is a euro 2016 tgv special back to paris. Few hours kip on train arises gard de nord. This costs around €50. Arrives 05.10. Quick train to CDG for the 07.20 flight back to MAN (under £100). If you live nearby you could be back in work for 9am (tired but there)
