Hi. I'm looking for a lift to Lyon and back for the semi final. Willing to pay my share. I live in South Wales and am willing to meet somewhere e.g on the m4. Thanks

If you find someone mate, let me know. Me and my mate are also looking for the same thing as my car would need a lot of fuel haha.

I have a car, but it'd probably cost quite a bit to get down to Lyon. I was looking at prices from Paris to Lyon on a MegaBus and it's about £35, just need to find a way to Paris by 9:15am

Guys You are running out of time. Dover from South Wales is between 4 and 5 hours depending on where you are travelling from, check in for the ferry is about an hour, the crossing is 1.5 hours plus the clock goes forward and Lyon is a minimum of 9 hours allowing for traffic, so you are talking nearly 17.5 hours as a minimum without rests etc, and the game kicks off in 28 hours! If you are driving you should get a green card from your insurance company.
Have a look on via Michelin route planner, gives you options to cost you journey out etc. The biggest cost in France will be tolls which is about €60 one way, you could avoid the tolls but that will increase the length of your journey. I drove down to Toulouse for the Russia game from West Wales, it's a fair spin so you need to move quick.
Good luck.

There is a megbus from London to Paris at 8pm tonight. Your best bet is to drive. Rope the others in and split all the costs, get your green card sorted now and get some breakdown cover on the way up.
