Sadly the last one is synonymous with an embarrassing draw at home to the 6th seed so whether the players feel it is relevant or not to those on the outside it looks very cheap and (and this is the key point) does not indicate a very professional mindset going into a game that we needed a win from. Tonight is the last chance saloon in terms of topping the group so all I want to see after the anthems is angry looks and motivated players. Sod the photo. I for one will not be amused to see them clowning around. |

While I am not worried one iota about what the team photo is, we all agree that the fun they have as a squad is a key component of the togetherness that helps this group.
Therefore I think we should be careful about stopping them from doing these type of things. I for one will be worried that the pressure of tonight is getting to them if there is a regulation team photo.

A daft photo suggests to me that they don't know how important this game is. Lets be fair here, it came across like they weren't taking Georgia seriously after Bale got the opening goal and we then sat back which suggests that for that particular game they simply weren't focused and the photo is just more proof of this. There is plenty of time for team bonding and mucking about during the build up to the game. The pitch is the last place for it, imo. |
