Nothing in it and not doubt that dirty twat Williams deserved it, listen you were beaten and are out, you were not good enough to qualify over ten games so quit the crying. They way you lot go on you would think you were Brazil instead of team who flucked their way to a euro semi, have not been to world cup since 1958 and apart from bale are a team of average journey men. You are a bellend aren't you??? The first post you typed was forget about the WUM's and then u post this crap. We were Semi-Finalists in a major tournament - u dirty cheating morons will never reach those dizzy heights!!! Possibly, but Ireland will be at more tournaments and most fans know what it's like to be at a World Cup.

To put this into perspective Iceland who qualified for their first ever tournament (Euro 2016) by next summer will have played in the same number of tournaments as Wales.

I've only ever noticed one on ybig, and that's the Yanto bloke. Personally don't have any interest in other forums. Some awful petty posts on both sides.
Just because it's a Welsh forum doesn't make some of the red tinted posts/responses any less pathetic than some of the Irish ones who might be wumming or determined to settle scores (given what happened to our most important player and captain) one way or another.
I knew these two games no matter how we both did at the Euros would be two scrappy games. The idea from someone here that we were more or less entirely responsible for the 'thuggery' or physical nature of the two games is preposterous especially when Wales reciprocated themselves. I'd concede that we started it in Dublin. Personally given our injuries going into it and the fact that Wales had way more pace than us in attacking midfield and forward positions, we had to employ strongarm/stopper tactics. Even with a man up with 20 minutes to go, it was very much a point gained for us back in March.
We were physical alright and there's no excuse for Meyler's tackle on Hennessy when he knew he was never getting to that ball. McClean's on Ramsey and the 'sandwich' on Allen are common challenges. McClean was rightly booked as he caught Ramsey but even Ray Charles could see he was trying to kick the ball away. Maybe in rugby it is, but the idea that you can premeditate a clash like that on Allen is ridiculous. If we deliberately set out to do that, then believe me there's far easier ways of doing it rather than trying to time a 'sandwich' tackle.
I must say I think it's desperate stuff for any Irish posters on here to put down Wales's achievements in the Euros irrespective of who they played. It's the same kind of begrudging rubbish that knocks Northern Ireland's (who I despise BTW) achievements.
I'm curious to hear your take on Ramsey's poor showing against us over the two games. I'm surprised he wasn't more of a threat. He seems to struggle if a team sits deep/makes it a physical contest like we did. Woukld that be more the players around him/Coleman's tactics?

(given what happened to our most important player and captain) I wish Ireland would let this go. It happens in football, get over it. You don't see Welsh fans spamming Stoke's forums over Shawcross's challenge on Ramsey still.

Regarding letting things go, I think you'd be best directing that at some of the Welsh posters on here in fairness. You seem to be a mod as well and to imply my post is spamming is poor form on your part imo. I call it as I see it even and try to be as respectable as possible as a poster on a rival forum. Your response was poor at best.

As our chances of world cup qualification were dashed last night, I'm sure we can allow some Welsh fans a few more days to get over it. I must admit, I'm feeling rather depressed today because of it all and some people will handle this in their own way. Dreading going into work tomorrow, as there will no doubt be a few people who want to have a joke about what happened last night.

In terms of who I would prefer in the order of 1 to 4. 1. Denmark 2. Switzerland 3. Italy 4. Croatia

We know ourselves what it's like to have our world cup hopes dashed. I 'celebrated' my 30th birthday in Vienna with a 1-0 loss away to Austria in 2013. (I think we were gone anyway before that match afaik) Belgium in 97 is sore point* *Ammunition you can use for us Irish wums in future when Italy send us to the tv sofa to join yourselves and Scotland

Screwed against Italy as they'll probably get more ref decisions than us along with the fact they've more players that can hurt us. Croatia would be the next worst but we may have a chance if we've the second leg at home.

Personally I would take the Croats over Denmark at the minute. That front 6 of Denmark's are very technical but tough lot who have all played at relatively top level and are on possibly their greatest run, result wise in a few years whilst, conversely, the Croats are probably at their lowest ebb in a decade and a half and stumbled through a group which any of Wales, Serbia and Ireland could have came out of.
Their fans are also not exactly shrouded in patriotism towards the team either, and their FA is a mess.
Their is less pressure on Denmark seemingly but, equally, they haven't qualified for the last 2 tournaments which is strange for them so they would be desperate to reach it.
That game against Poland during the campaign when they hammered them, they made the Poles look like a pub team.
Ireland will, on merit be very much outsiders (just like last night............9/1 I got in Paddy Power pre game for an Ireland/Croat Double!) but like you saw last night, the games will be tight and ugly but it just takes that moment. The Belgium game was an embarrasment last Summer but apart from that game and the Polish game during the last qualifying stages, we have always looked capable of getting over the line. Even the French game, we didn't embarrass ourselves and though the quality difference was evident once Griezemann scored his second, we almost grabbed one at the end to level. Fine lines.
I honestly am not confident we will get over the next stage, but it is FAR from a foregone conclusion.

I think you best chance is Switzerland , I don't always think you can go by recent form regarding two legs playoffs a lot to do with having savvy and gamesmanship experience ect which suits Italy and like old Yugo states they as bad lol I think Slovenia qualified twice via playoff.i cant see you winning against Croatia over two legs .As for Denmark not just Erickson they have some emerging players and they always seem to have athletic, fit teams

Some fair points in there really. I think a lot of our complaints are with the officiating, not necessarily the Irish team. You did what you had to do and win by any means. Your personal isn't a strong generation by your standards, so had to get in our faces. Yeah Ramsey didn't show up yesterday, though, for the sake of red tinted loyalty I don't think he was ready for the tactical curve ball he was dealt. Yes we haven't qualified for many tournaments which is why it is so hard to take not making it this time, when we have an unusually talented crop of players and every one involved has put so much into doing everything right. Added to the fact that we somehow manged to be pot one for the first time ever, yet draw teams like Serbia as pot four etc. Going into yesterdays game we were unbeaten since the semi final. It's just all a bit heartbreaking for us who have never seen Wales at a world cup.

Poor from the Irish posters on here. Shows there are dicks in every country. Explain, how? Poor game. Nothing between the teams but you created nothhibg all night. You can hardly complain. We are unlikely to get out of pla offs but we are there nonetheless. If HRK's header is nothing then I'm Irish too. Must be something in the water of Ireland.
