The more I think about it the more it annoys me, so long waiting for a World Cup after seeing the US, Africa and Russia pass us by and we eventually qualify for one basically held in one city in a desert at winter and with a shirt that may as well be a training top. I hope the performances on the pitch aren’t as disappointing as the rest of it

Far to old and far to fat to ever buy replica kits ,so as long as it doesn't offend me,I usually don't care,my only issue this time was the hinting and tweeting done by Noel Mooney,like everything he is doing for Welsh football, but in this instance he raised expectations and we are delivered,a generic Adidas kit. It wouldn't even have registered as a big deal for me without that.

It's just a standard football shirt, nothing to go doolally about. It's actually very similar to the shirt we wore at the 2016 Euros, and we didn't do too badly there.

Well, that’s exactly the issue: “it’s just standard”. It being a template is obviously not ideal as that means it’s a generic design others will be wearing. But that in and of it else is not the worst thing- the adidas template from USA 94 was kind of iconic. But here the template itself looks like it had about 5 minutes of creative thinking out into it with nothing that marks it out as a high quality design. |

Saves me a bob or two, as I can still wear my (looks like new) Euro 2016 shirt for the WC.
It's almost only the badge that's different, and I prefer the old badge anyway.

I think many will go back to wearing the 2016 one, rather than buy new.

I don't mind it, I actually was worrying when I saw the retro kits being discussed. It's our first world cup in forever, let's keep it plain and classy as if this doesn't happen again video's and pictures of the lads will be used for decades to come. Showing up with an embarrassing yellow and green v up the middle or Hennessey wearing an acid trip of a keeper top would be a bit embarrassing.
Only retro I would think would work would be a knock off of the last World Cup kit but it's not been long since we did that.

The Germany kit looks the best of adidas’s offerings, a Welsh version of their design with a white away shirt with a green stripe down the centre would be pretty decent
