JD Sports in Llandudno refusing to apply the Red Wall discount in store. Said they stopped doing any in store discounts some time ago.

Got mine in the post on Friday, fits exactly the same as the yellow away, looks amazing in, I'm going to buy another with a name on, just don't know who yet.

Not for the first time, JD are absolutely shite. I ‘pre ordered’ the away one for click and collect for my boy over a week ago and not heard a thing. Then ordered the home shirt for myself, paid £4.50 for delivery by Sunday, and now they say it’s been delayed, despite the fact they said it had been dispatched on Saturday.

I’ve had an absolute nightmare with them. Double charged and sent me wrong products. But I don’t care tbh. It’s all about our results at the World Cup

Hopefully ok to post on this thread. Anyone got the latest SO58 white bucket hat in XL and fancy swapping for a M/L? I’ve got a bigger head than I thought! Cheers

Honestly think the kit looks incredible, also given the fact its going to be our World Cup kit I can already see it becoming Iconic and a bit of a collectors item down the road.

Home kit arrived this morning. I really like it, although the finish is not what I was expecting. From the photos it looks like a silky / shiney finish like the 1990-1992 home shirt, but it's actually a matt/flat shirt. Anyway, still nice.

How does that away top look in the flesh lads? The home kit grew on me. Still so so about on whether to get the away

I just find the trim pattern too weird. I think the issue is that red white and green are hardly ever used together in a Wales kit, so whilst they are the colours of the flag they seem odd when used together because it’s just not how it’s done, compared to as your say Iran or Mexico or whoever who are synonymous with those colours. So yeah, a colour choice that should make sense…but doesn’t

Anyone got a code that now works? Was holding out for shirts with the sleeve badges but going to take the plunge now out of fear that they sell out and the sleeve badges dont get released... have tried the code in this thread and the FAW membership code but neither work.

I personally think the away kit is a thing of beauty! Thought it looked great out on the pitch in Brussels and really liked the look of it in person. Also a big fan of the home kit

The FAW code works. But it’s on the FAW joint JD Sports app. Not the JD Sports app.

Just this one doesn't feel like a Wales top to me. Although I like the 90-92 shirts, I've never really liked seeing us playing in plain white. Give me a yellow away top anyday.

One day, after we win the World Cup in Qatar, people will say that Mexico and Iran look like they're wearing a Wales away shirt.

The top 3 classic away kits are the yellow Admiral, the adidas yellow with green sleeves that immediately followed it (either that was a golden period for design, or my judgement is impeded by my 10 year old self) & the white Umbro with the chevrons on the shoulders from the early 90s.
The only away kit that comes close in recent times is the one off yellow & black St David’s kit worn in Moldova. That shirt will become a real collector’s item.

Interesting that we had the Prince of Wales feathers on our first shirt. Hats off to the FAW for ditching it almost immediately in favour of the Dragon. Something the WRU haven’t managed (or wanted) to do in nearly 150 years.

Yeah, I’ve thrown loads of Wales shirts away over the years, just like throwing away an old pair of jeans or jumper, didn’t used to think about it. I’ve even got a photo of me aged about 10 wearing an original classic Admiral 70s shirt. That would be worth a fortune now if I’d kept that.

There's a facebook group called 'Wales Retro Shirts' or similar and they have recently had a reproduction of that lotto kit on there for people to buy.

With hindsight the smart thing to do was to buy an adult large shirt back in 1978. Then you would be the coolest guy in the stadium now.

B) I’m already the coolest guy in the stadium
