Any teams people want to avoid based on this? Lithuania. I'm on 8 aways and I think even I'd struggle with that one. Romania would be a good one allocation wise but a tougher draw. Balancing act here isn't it. Does anyone know why they are using such a tiny stadium? Are they building a bigger one? I think it's the smallest on this list apart from Gibraltar..

Their in the middle of building a new 15k capacity stadium. They started building it 31 years ago so don't hold your breath.

Cyprus away in Sept or Gibraltar in Faro in June would be great for a week's holidays around the matches .

Slovakia will open a brand new National footbal stadium in Bratislava very soon, i think Slovan Bratislava should play their home matches there from February. It has 22 500 capacity and its located almost in the city center.

If draw Poland and play in Chorzow (Katowice)then real issue is gaining access into the ground. Was there for Pol v Portugal and Security / Turnstiles were very very inadequate................ 30 mins queue but decent tram access from centre of city.
Ok they may have sorted by then but doubt it.
Good news is Katowice is served from UK well by flights plus Krakow is 1 hr away by direct bus and Wroclaw is 2-3 hrs away by bus. Car wise Katowice airport is 40 mins away, Krakow 1 hr and Wroclaw 2 hrs with latter 2 all on Motorways.
Least some of the folks from the Valleys will be able to see something long since gone in South Wales.............. real working Coal Mines.

I couldn't find much tbh. Best I could find was an article explaining there's a stadium boom in Turkey as they wanted to catch up and be a proper footballing nation with multiple large stadiums. So might be playing in these new stadiums to make the most of them maybe. Bit of a weird one is Turkey.

The Ataturk stadium in Istanbul has a capacity of 76k and although Turkey get pretty good attendances I couldn't find the last time they used it. It is being used for the Champions league final in 2020 though so maybe they'll use these qualifiers to test it out. I seem to remember there being a bit of criticism around the transport links back in 2006 when Liverpool played heir champions league final there. In the last few years they've extended the metro system to the stadium

Turkey was hoping to have Euro2020 but there was little appetite among the big UEFA countrys to give it to them. They were a little cut up about it............... probably not as much cut up as the Saudi embassy.

Turkey's become a bit of a basketcase really. That political situation two years ago was bonkers.

I’d be happy to stay in Istanbul for a night or two before moving on to a match elsewhere.
Turkey away not too desirable.

Pains me to do so but even England fans are better behaved.

Assuming the Azerbaijan game is played at the Olympic Stadium and we play Croatia in Zagreb, our minimum allocations for each game will be:
Croatia: 1771 Slovakia: 960 Hungary: 1185 Azerbaijan: 3485

There must be a chance they would give us all of that.

Seen on another thread Slovakia previously gave England 2000 tickets. Not sure on Hungary but hopefully something similar. I would expect Croatia to be in Zagreb but if they move it will be substantially less.
