www.jdsports.co.uk/product/adidas-wales-2015-home-shirt-pre-order/119800/Remember the home shirt in the 90's. The one which Baddiel and Skinner took the piss out of because it was shit(in their opinion). The new shirt reminds me of that one. I got my doubts. While on holiday in the Greek Islands in the summer I saw an Admiral sports store. They're not doing much with football it seems but they still exist. How long is the contract with Adidas? The new away doesn't to be up to much either

Didn't help that they had a glaring spelling error on the logo! "Gorau Chwarae Cyd Chawarae" I think it said. Absolute disgrace that the FAW/Umbro allowed it to go on sale.

I like both home and away kits, think the green in home is good and adds a difference to every Adidas kit out there eg forest (scum) and when people see it they know its Wales kit..
There have been some suite especially away kits

The recent Champion home kit was worse than that and the last Kappa home. I quite like the new one as it happens.

I´m being harsh. I just think they have not used their imagination. A Welsh home jersey can only use so many colours anyway. It does look very similar though. Anythying to do with Bobby Gould makes me wanna cry!!! I was at the Scotland Wales friendly at Kilmarnock and Wales won and we were still chanting Bobby Gould out at the end!!! When did that last happen? People were pissed at Cookie in Andorra and myself included(Pisshead Clown comment on apostle) wanted him out on the forums but I don´t think people were calling for his head in the stadium

The Adidas shirts have been a step up imo. My personal favourite was the Kappa home shirt for the Euro 2004 campaign.

I had some Australian friends that thought John Hartson and that Kappa kit looked ridiculous!!! I could hardly defend him. In all fairness though Hartson did say once ¨I´m sick of pro football, if i eat a burger I put on 2 and a half stone´, Is metabolism was shocking

Took me 11 hours to get home the next day tho? Nightmare.

Wasn't the green Lotto top actually designed by Bobby Gould?! Or did I dream that.

No, the 1958 style kits were for the Euro 2008 campaign (2008 being 50th anniversary of 1958 - see what the Kappa marketing team did there?). We actually wore two different red kits in the Euro 2004 campaign - the all-red one in Helsinki, then the red with white side panels for the rest of the games.

6 year contract with Adidas and only just over a year into it! We'll have at least eight more Adidas kits before the deal expires then! If the current release pattern continues we'll have 2 new kits in 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018.

Really like the new shirt, but prefer the away version. Deffo better and a bit more edgy than the current generic adidas one. This is my favorite top to date though:

This is my favorite top to date though Possibly destined to become a bit of a collector's item in years to come too seeing as the stock was so limited. Yes it was, same era as the nasty green one however, both around 06/07 I think with the white one being the 2nd strip and the green being the 3rd choice. The home kit from the same era wasn't too bad if I remember, it had something about it:

I actually quite like this shirt... I have a match-worn one in long sleeve with the No 15 on the back somewhere.

The home kit also resembled an England away kit: too much white in all the wrong places. Reminded me in this respect of the mid 1990s Cardiff City away (maybe third?) strip that was white and black with a dash of red and looked like a smart Swansea City home kit which of course meant it was bought by no-one

Red shirts and made by a Vincent Tan company. They also look very Sunday League. I have one of the white Champion shirts I think. Was bought for me.
