Brooks won't play for us again this year.
You'd hope Ramsey would be fit but I wouldn't bet on it.
I'd be looking to start Joniesta.

Joniesta buzzing to be back for Wales. Massive smiles and loves being on the ball. No fear. Great to see him back. I think Coleman bottled it by starting with King instead of Jonny in the S/Final

My only issue with Jonny is that when he was warming up in front of us on Friday night, he ignored me when I shouted Joniesta at him.
Made me look a right nob in front of my missus!

Subbed after 56'. Beeb doesn't mention an injury. Anyone know why?

Defo injured. Spoke to a Leeds fan who was at the game, Leeds has most of the game but he said Johnny was very direct and always looking to run at Leeds - as a Leeds fan he was glad to see him go off but as a Wales fan he was very concerned.

Yep, those on the Charlton forum seem to think so too. As an aside, they're giving Tom Lockyer all manner of praise.

According to a few posters on the Charlton forum, he was 'running' the game yesterday.
Hope it's not a bad one, we're going to need him in two weeks time.

It seems like his game time is being managed sensibly, good to see!

Charlton fans singing Jonny Williams' praises after the first half: "Williams really living up to his Welsh Iniesta nickname today". Subbed after 64 minutes, hopefully not due to an injury. He's not been playing 90 minutes the last few games, so Bowyer is probably managing his game time. For that reason alone it probably wouldn't be wise to start him out in Slovakia, unless we have to...

Looked really good in the opening 30mins last night, then looked like he was getting tired. That would explain why he's not playing full matches for Charlton atm.
If Ramsey is miraculously available Sunday, it will be good if they can play 45 each, or 60/30 etc.

If you look at the build up to the Slovakia goal, Williams stops 10 yards inside our half instead of tracking back.
Now I don't know whether this was tiredness, laziness, or by Giggs instruction. But it definitely contributed a lot to their goal.

Surprised no-ones mentioned much of Williams after the Croatia match. I feel he brings something else to the team, technically superb, and plays with such a fantastic spirit.
Never thought I’d see him back at this level, and actually felt a bit emotional when he was subbed off.

The spirit engendered within Coleman’s squad is most evident in Jonny Williams. If he had been injury-free all his career he would have had 80 caps & we would have won more games.

His trickery and ability to drive the ball to the edge of the box is superb, the only thing lacking is that final ball. To be fair that's been the case since his late teens, and I remember back in 2013/14 his coaches were recorded as saying that was something that would come with time and games as he improved and rose up the levels. Unfortunately his injuries then hit.
He's basically at the same developmental level he was back in 2015, however now he's 'match fit' again and he's only turned 26 last week. If he gets a full season with CAFC this year we'll hopefully see him finally start to develop this side to his game. 2020 could well be Jonny's year!
So happy to see him on top again and I pray he now stays fit, am really enjoying watching him play in the Championship this season and his performances over the weekend will only have enhanced his reputation.
