For those of you who have missed out on Bosnia, you can temper your disappointment by booking Vienna away. 6 of us just booked with germanwings from Stansted, Wed to Fri, £77 each. I imagine we'll be ok for match tickets but don't care at that price, Vienna was great in 2005!

Decent bit of forward planning! Imagine cheap flights shouldn't be too hard to come by, plenty of flights to Vienna. I'm planning to go by train to this one.

At least 2500
Edit:
In fact, these are the minimum number of seats we should get from each game:
Austria - 2543 Republic of Ireland - 2585 Serbia - 1635 if played in Belgrade, 723 if played in Novi Sad Moldova - 520 Georgia - 2727

It will be similar to brussels i think.
My idea was book flight now for £80. Reserve hotels which can be cancelled. That way if you don't get a ticket, you can either go on the beer instead or stay home and you've only lost £80

Is it definitely in Vienna? 99.9% sure it will be. We're top seeds, they'll want to play it in their biggest stadium.

Even if it isn't in Vienna, then Graz and Linz are both about 2 hours away. Salzburg less than 3. Pray it's not in Innsbruck, 5 hours away.
Seriously, it will be in Vienna.

Is it definitely in Vienna? It looks like they haven't played a home qualifier outside Vienna since their first home game for the Euro 2012 qualifiers, and even then it was only the one against Kazakhstan, so it should be in Vienna

Ill be having a look at Austria when I get back from Bosnia. Direct from Bristol looks a good shout for me but there's also the options of flying to Brno. Trains every 2 hours from Brno to Vienna taking 1hr 30 mins. And also Bratislava is only about 50 miles from Vienna, ryanair fly from Birmingham there. Return train is about 13 euro.

At least 2500 Edit: In fact, these are the minimum number of seats we should get from each game: Austria - 2543 Republic of Ireland - 2585 Serbia - 1635 if played in Belgrade, 723 if played in Novi Sad Moldova - 520 Georgia - 2727 The 5% rule doesn't apply for the World Cup qualifiers, it's a UEFA regulation. The World Cup qualifying allocations are mutually agreed. They could all agree on 5% though, which would be fair imo.

If not, they may either (i) lower the figure for them at the CCS and increase it for us going there? or (ii) Stick with 5% knowing that there is the ability to add more for away sides when there are unsold tickets.

this campaign, Moldova sold out v Sweden, about 1000 empty seats v Austria, only just over half full against Montenegro and Liechtenstein. i've had a quick scan at the last 2 campaigns for Moldova's home qualifiers World Cup 2014 Quals - Home Fixtures England 10,500 (Sell Out) Ukraine 10,500 (Sell Out) Montenegro 5,400 (5,100 Empty Seat) Poland 8,726 (1,774 Empty Seats) San Marino 7348 (3,152 Empty Seats) Euro 2016 Quals - Home Fixtures Austria 9,381 (1,119 Empty Seats) Liechtenstein 6,843 (3,657 Empty Seats) Sweden 10,375 (125 Empty Seats) Montenegro 6,243 (4,257 Empty Seats) Russia TBC (Played on 9th October 2015) When the top seeds wen't there in W/C 2014 quals they sold out, yet to sell out this campaign however it will be interesting to see the attendance from the Russia game. If we had them away first 2 games I would expect it to sell out but as we have them quite late on where without showing any disrespect they should be effectively out of doing anything in the group we might get a decent allocation. Only time will tell!

We have the Bale-factor though.
Not sure whether Moldovans follow English Premier League or La Liga, but seeing star players in the flesh could be attractive (like in Haifa where there were Madrid fans).

yeah totally agree WalesAway, big attendance for Sweden could well have been down to Ibrahimovic couldn't it! He played and scored 2 that night.

If we're in contention when the Georgia game comes around, I think we'll fill all those.

Yes we have to beware the Bale factor here so this may artificially boost the scarcity of tickets for Moldova. This is a game I would like to get to. Sounds like its a difficult place to get to so that might keep demand low.

The 3 away games before then might help me, though a lot who went to Belgium and Cyprus will probably go to Austria & Ireland, so they'll have to have a strict criteria for Moldova tickets if they only give us 500ish (which is what I'd expect as they'll probably sell out due to Bale & Ramsey). This won't be as in demand as Bosnia is though as it's midweek and it isn't the game which could see us qualify. Like Bosnia, it's also a bugger to get to.

The stadiun is about 10 mins drive from the airport, just off a straight road!
