I can't see him making it at Liverpool, I don't think he's half as good as many on here seem to think he is. He's been poor for months. I saw this tweet from a derby fan after his brace in their last game:
"Every Liverpool fan who doesn't who doesn't watch Harry Wilson thinks he's just dragged derby to a win. When in reality he played shite scored a pen and almost missed an open goal"
Obviously that's just the view of one fan, but it chimes with how I feel. Liverpool and Welsh fans get excited when they hear he's scored a couple of goals and think he's ripping it up, but when you watch him for 90mins he's not that great. He hasn't even been getting many goals recently. Going back to the end of Jan, he's only scored in two from 18 games.
Don't get me wrong, I think he's an important player for us. But I can't see him ever reaching the levels of shaqiri, nevermind Salah, mane and firminho!

Think you've got to look at Shaqiri who is a better player than our Harry (for the time being anyway). Similar player to Harry in that he can play on either wing or behind the striker. He has started 11 games and come off the bench in 11 games in the Premier League this season. I'd be more than happy for this return for Harry next season for Liverpool, but unfortunately think he'll be quite a way down the pecking order, behind Shaqiri and won't come near to this. I'd like to think that the Liverpool hierarchy would be more inclined to sell a player like Shaqiri (a player that they can make a bit of money on), and promote a player like Wilson in his place for free. Obviously this is if they believe that Wilson can have a similar impact to Shaqiri this season (which I don't think is completely unreasonable). As you've said, I wouldn't want Wilson to be there if Shaqiri is still there, but 20 odd games for a team like Liverpool in the place of Shaqiri would certainly be positive for Wilson's development.

Best player on pitch Monday and been one of the top 3 players all season. 16 goals this season and as for the other derby fan he not obviously been to many games. Agree he wont get in liverpool side because missing out on the league again this year they be off spending millions for foreign players to try again. I hope klopp loans him out again, fuck him and liverpool... or if by a miracle we get promotion the likes of mount tamori and Wilson could come permanent. Yes a might be living in a fantasy but dont underestimate Frankie's pull at bringing in big players. Wilson is class and getting better simples as that

I don't really know any Derby fans, so what have you made of Lampard as manager? Obviously I don't watch all your games, but position-in-the-table wise, you don't seem to have been able to make that leap from challenging for the playoffs to challenging for the automatics. The year we went up, I remember you lot were top for months. Is it just a squad mentality thing at this point? From what I've seen you lot are good enough to be challenging for top 2. I think Lampard has had an excellent first year in management considering the difficulty of the league.

The public has spoken ;-) He's up against shaqiri and oxlade chamberlain to play second fiddle behind salah/mane/firminho, and this from someone who hasn't even been one of the leading players in the championship this season. I don't fancy his chances personally...

Another pen for Harry. Good to see his confidence under pressure. Oh, my lordy lord that dive by Tom ... (you should have kept it for Osijek, mate)

This from the BBC report:
"With home pressure building and Mason Mount, Tom Lawrence and Wilson particularly impressive, Bennett followed up to poke the Rams back in front on the rebound."
Good to hear!

Good to hear! I only saw the first 60' (turned over to watch Rabbi in Germany) but Tom had a very decent match - I saw three very good shots on target. Harry was very solid defensively - a side of his game which I really like.

That penalty might be worth 50million 😉
Both had good game but Tom confidence grew as we hot dominate in second half

Harry forced to do a fair amount of (very decent) defending, despite the match being at PP... That is one thing that I genuinely feel is a big feature with Harry, Tom and David - but perhaps lacking in Dan James' and Tyler's game.
Bielse saying that Tyler is very close to full recovery ;-)

Well done, Harry. Man of the Match by a country mile. His movement is exceptional.
Still, he will be in Neil's pocket come Wembley ;-)

If Derby go up I wonder if they'll look to sign him, or at least another loan.

Said all along that Liverpool won't use him, nor Woodburn. If he was English we would've been given a chance by now. Klopp can do one.
