Reports indicating that Starman is not in the 23 for the CL Final. That Kloop is a bigger idiot than what I already thought he is ;-(
Oh, well. The spuds have it, the spuds have it ;-(

Ben is far too creative for a Warnock team.

Real kick in the teeth for him last night.
As for Cardiff I actually agree with Robin. Warnock doesn't really play youngsters much, let alone Welsh youngsters.
He iS NOT A warnock player at all and a move to Cardiff would be a terrible move for him.

Kick in the teeth? Who kicked him, other than himself?
One failed loan spell, an injury and people expect the teenage Woodburn to play a part when there is Mane, Salah, Firmino, Chamberlain, Shaquiri, Origi and Lallana in the squad.
Get real.

He was on the bench for the semi final.
Then dropped for a third keeper.
I would be really pissed off if I was him.
Never expected him to get on by the way

He was in the semi final squad because salah and firminho were injured. With those two back in, there was no need to have woodburn on the bench. Nothing more to it

Think UEFA may have demanded 3 keepers in the 23 man squad like for the Euro's and WC.

Agreed but warnock has a lot of young Welsh players at his disposal and doesn't play them.

Young Ben would do better if he didn’t frequent the bars around Wrexham town centre. Speaking with a member of LFC's coaching staff the other night and the implication was that he would be off loaded by Liverpool at the first opportunity. The reason you give above was certainly mentioned, maybe it has all gone to his head, won't be the first or the last.

Real shame if true.
Hopefully if he is released it will work as a wake up call.

Only 19 so he still has time to turn things around, needs first team football and some discipline by the sound of things

LFC staff have in the past been less than impressed with his condition after the off season. These lads have to be 100% professional if they're going to make it.

Judging by a few snaps from his match last weekend and from the fact he has been chosen (together with Harry) in the 28 that will tour the USA ... our Starman has been away from the Wrexham boozer for a wee while ;-))

Can't see Woodburn or Wilson playing much part in LFC's season tbh.
Aren't most of their front line away on holiday still?
I guess Sturridge has gone though.

Liverpool lost 2-1 to sevilla. A brief search of woodburn's name on twitter suggests that lpool fans really do not rate him or Wilson and can't see either making the grade.

To be fair if they could meet the current expectations of the Liverpool fans they'd be good enough to get into any international side on the globe. I expect Wilson will play at premier league level for most of his career, not so sure about Woodburn. Either way they both need permanent moves away from Anfield to progress their career.
