Great to hear Pocast Peldroed's Russell on the programme, sounding remarkably cool and measured! I also liked hearing Ian Macintosh, the English journalist moved to tears by Wales' heroics: "This is everything you could want from a team performance!... This team will NOT be beaten!... There are some very moist eyes in this press box..." Had me blubbing once again!

Interrupted my drinking, crying, disbelieving, drinking, grinning...too embarrassed to listen back to it

Big fan of football weekly (or football daily as it is at the moment) as well as podcast peldroed of course. Saving up a few episodes for the long drive to Lyon though, look forward to hearing two of my fave podcasts collide!

Thought you spoke well both times, conveyed the feeling of the nation perfectly. I am a regular listener of the guardian pod, James Richardson is superb. Out of curiosity do you have a brief chat with everyone before they ask you questions and start recording or is it straight into the podcast? Always wondered.

Petty much straight into it. Maybe 30 seconds teeing it up. They didn't cntact me until about 15 mins before the end of teh Portugal game. Wasn't really in the mood tbh. It's edited as well a bit, not a lot though
