With Ramsey out for our first few matches who will replace him as our creative spirit in the middle of the park? Lets say Tosh decides to play a diamond or a modern 2-3-1 then we will need someone to give us that creative spark. The question is who?
My idea is to do this. Play a 2-3-1 with Edwards and Ledley in the middle (they dont have to be all out ball winners but remember there defensive duties I would be taking a chance that Ledley could do this while Edwards has the legs to be the engine room). I would then have Bale on the left with Simon Davies on the right with Bellamey playing the Number 10 role.
Yes we would loose his speed but we would still have Davies there who would be more than capable to paly the attacking winger (providing his legs hold up). Bellamey is dangerous running at people where ever he lines up. What we could also do is play Bellamey on the wing and put Davies in the 'hole' they would bring different things to the table. Bellamey would be dangerous running at people but I think Davies could set up bale and bellers for there runs behind the full backs.
I am not sure who I would play up front. All depends who out of Volkes, Evans or Church are in the best form. I would say its in between Church and Volkes but a new season means a new start. The new Millwall lad might just turn out to be what we need.
Anybody else got any ideas thoughts on the problem?

I reckon they should use a different formation when Ramsey is'nt playing, because apart from Bale and Bellamy no one else is anywhere near his skill level.

i think the formation should be the same - no one can do what ramsey does in the 10 position, but they can still contribute. i'd rather see the other ten players getting used to their roles, so when rambo returns, he can slot back into a settled, organised, side.

Ryan Giggs.
RYAN GIGGS is the greatest footballer to have walked the earth ... yes, better than even Pele and Diego Maradona.

I never thought I would see anyone in the red of Wales as good as Ryan Giggs.
Ramsey, because of the more central, play-making position he fits into, is likely to be more influential and effective for his country than even Giggs was.
Of course, first he has to overcome his horror injury, then he has to re-establish himself in Arsense Wenger’s Arsenal team, for whom he was making such strides before the Ryan Shawcross incident.
With him at the forefront of everything, I have real optimism for Wales.
