Fair point ^^^ Games are mid week or a Sunday etc travel and work commitments a long with "it's only a glorified frendly" does not get the imagination going... just like I dare say rugby autumn internationals to 6 nations. It's all ok for the m4 corridor brigrade to say I follow our team but it's easier when you only 30mins from CCFC Its a chance to qualify for a major tournament and a chance to better our pot for the qualifiers themselves. Why people think these are glorified friendlies and compare them to the autumn internationals is beyond me. They have replaced friendlies, doesn't mean they are glorified friendlies. If there are many people who have this conception of the Nations Cup then its been marketed poorly.

And I'm Giggs and the lads will not be treating it as glorified friendlies either. It's a good chance to improve or at least maintain our pot and it's a route to the Euros should we fail to qualify by the conventional qualifiers. These are big games and it would be a shame if a lot of fans are only viewing them as XL friendlies.

Did you not try the 029 landline I posted a couple of pages ago? The message when waiting (about 8 mins for me) was you will be charged 70p/min or suchlike, but the number was 02920... and I can confirm (as my mobile bill was today) NO EXTRA CHARGES - i.e. taken off my monthly allowance .
Here it is:
02920 643 600 - THEN 1 for Tickets THEN 3 for Wales
Very friendly and helpful!

As per the FSF minutes from their meeting with FAW on 30 October, we have increased our TT sales by 2k since the latest June numbers up to 13,500 and our RED WALL membership by 4500 up to 21,000.
Great news and very well done, all around :-)

Minute taking is a thankless task, I have done it myself, but there are many errors in that piece... please stop and edit next time! Arriva stadium, Swansea AFC and league one side Brentford. C'mon!

Just read the minutes I find it hard to believe that the FAW can't afford to play out in Albania without a whip round from the supporters , this is shocking considering how much money they made at Euro 16 Finals !! I wonder if any fans of the other home nations also have to have a whip round in order for their team to play away friendlies ?

Whilst £15.00 was a surprise, it's hardly broken the bank given how much I've spent on flights, accommodation and spending money. Premier League away tickets can be £30.00 (and even that has been brought down significantly.)
I assume the FAW is a not for profit organisation unlike professional clubs.

If this was their thinking they should have at minimum gauged fan opinion before adding this stealth “tax” on the fans. For £20k they have left a lot of fans miffed.

I don't think any fan's actually complained at the amount, it's the principle. They've overcharged us without initially explaining why. I still don't see any reason to charge us so much. Why not tell us they're going to do this when the friendly is arranged?

Fans should have been informed about the reason behind the pricing. Even when it was pointed out to the FAW they waited until this meeting to provide an answer instead of sending out a message to clarify the situation. Poorly handled imo.

If we are drawn in a group of six, the fifth home game in qualifying is not included in the ticket !!

Some maybe could not afford the Nations League but could afford the Qualifiers? I have no issue with the FAW selling the tickets now, and if we sell out as TT in advance of the first game then so be it! No difference to clubs selling season tickets is it?

They won't sell all the tickets as tournament tickets, they will keep some back for those not wanting tournament tickets.

And they're available until 5th January if I've understood correctly, so some time before and after Christmas to purchase tickets.
I understand Gwelfryn's point to a degree - I'm holding back for the same reason!

FAW Tournament tickets are now back on sale, over 800 have been sold already today and in total that's about 14500. There will be a maximum of 5,000 of these available in order to leave enough for the kickback scheme and members who want to buy match by match. Quite a few people trying to buy who already have the campaign ticket, not realizing it covered the EQ matches. If you bought a tournament ticket that got you into the Nation League matches it will also get you into these qualifying matches if you didn't and want to guarantee seats and tickets for the EURO 2020 qualifying games then you should get one of these tournament tickets.

I have never understood these poor people who can't pay for Christmas and football. If you are that hard up just cancel Christmas, it's a load of boll-cks anyway 🎅🎅🤶
