I thought Channel Islanders were already eligible for us?Think we’ve got a lad from Jersey in our u17s, Luke Harris. The rule is they are eligible for all home nations providing neither of their parents or grandparents were born in a home nation country. For example, if someone is born in the Isle of Man and 1 of their grandparents is born in Scotland, they can only choose Scotland. It's possible a change in rules will be around this, perhaps loosening the rules slightly? |

I follow this account on twitter and recently there's been quite a few players mentioned on it that i or indeed wikipedia etc didn't know were Welsh or Welsh eligible. For example tonight's tweet states some starters for their clubs:
- Thompson (Peterborough)
- Burton, Drysdale (Cambridge)
- Pickering, Lowery (Crewe)
- Curran (Swindon)
Have we been on a Bryan Flynn style recruitment drive or something? As far as i know none of the above have been part of the set up previously.

Lowery's a decent little player |

Not sure the mainstream know he is eligible but those paying close attention would have known. Drysdale also mentioned here recently I believe. Can't speak for the others, but the FAW are so thorough I believe they know about plenty of players that we don't so it wouldn't surprise me |

Looking at dragonsoccer’s spreadsheet, Max Melbourne is currently ineligible for us despite appearing for our u16s. Anyone know why? Really curious about that |

I was talking to his dad the other day but resisted the temptation to ask in respect of his privacy. |

Well when Wildig came through all us Cardiff fans assumed he was Welsh. He's from around Hereford isn't he? I thought Rodri was brilliant that game - he looked every bit the heir to Busquets, everything seemed to go through him By draw attention I mean along the lines of Dele Ali for that foul on Gunter, McClean for everything he did in Cardiff, Skrtel for that elbow on Joniesta, Rooney for shoving the camera in his face. I think when I’m watching Wales get beat I’m so annoyed I can’t even tell who’s doing what on the other team and focus on who should be doing more for Wales. |

Harry's brother was doing a plumbing job in our street the other day, I should have just asked him. Our little village is now becoming quite famous as Lex Greensill lives here also!!! |
