Think we're out on the Wednesday for this and back Friday from Gatwick, was about £100 so fairly decent.

Possibly. Would they really need the pitch for a design show though? Presumably as a newly renovated stadium it has conference facilities etc. Then if not it's a 2 hour journey to either Tampere or Turku.

New stadium, Finnish football on an all time high after qualifying for the first time, Pukki Pukki Pukki power, they’ve gotta be playing there. The only thing the Finns would let get in the way is a desig....shit.

To be fair even were it 2 hrs away the trains are super quick and make British Rail look antiquated.
We have them after you guys at the Aviva so may take a couple of days there. Spend 2 nights there but saw none of it.

If the game is in Helsinki then most people should be able to get tickets, which is good. If the game isn’t in Helsinki then it will be very difficult to get tickets as the other stadiums they use are tiny.

Same thing has happened to me. People on Twitter saying that BA have dropped Helsinki from their routes completely but they are still selling the flights online apparently, so no idea what’s going on.

Think you may be in luck there. Even if this virus stuff has gone away by then I can personally see the Nations League being a casualty of the rearranged season.

These flights are part of a BA flights/hotel package and we've only paid a deposit of £75 each, balance payable end July!! We'll take the refund, sit and wait to see how it all works out!!

Yes happend to me but no news of refund yet BA refund process seems to be a merry go round. E-mail says to go online, manage booking and choose cancel and refund. If you do this online it only offers you a future flight voucher. It then says if you want a full refund in cash you have to phone BA. The number it then gives you to ring plays a bit of a message and then basically says this number isn’t open at the moment and that you have to phone their emergency Covid-19 phone number. However, it then specifically says that you should only phone this number if you are due to fly in the next 72 hours. Dead end.

Following on from this, I managed to find this on Twitter:- www.flyertalk.com/forum/32209950-post666.htmlIt’s a method that allows you to do the cash refund online. Worked for me through Firefox.

I've been keeping an eye on all my booked flights, hoping that my bookings for Baku and Rome will be cancelled. But instead, I just had an email from Lastminute.com, saying my return flight from Helsinki to Manchester with Air Baltic has been cancelled. My outward flight is with SAS, and that's still on at the moment. And as it's with Lastminute they are offering a voucher rather than a refund. Brilliant.

Has an official decision been made on whether supporters are allowed into the stadium for this one?

If I've read it correctly Finland still restricts entry from the UK and requires 14 days quarantine although all travel restrictions with about a dozen other mainland European countries were lifted on the 13th July.

Fully expecting not to be allowed in the ground but will 100% be going to Helsinki still if there's no 14 day quarantine requirement. Why waste a fully booked trip.

Is it definitely in Helsinki? Still tbc. Given it's now likely to be behind closed door they could hold it anywhere as no worry about capacity for fans.

Why waste a fully booked trip. This attitude is probably why covid seems to be ongoing, sorry to say.
