This attitude is probably why covid seems to be ongoing, sorry to say. Not at all a sweeping generalisation despite not knowing my own personal circumstances. Wind it in mate. Whatever your personal circumstances are, you could save money by not going I know that much.

It's not, but I just don't see the appeal of travelling to somewhere where Wales are playing when you can't see the game yourself and travelling during a global pandemic.

Again, not that it’s any business of yours but I’ve wanted to visit Helsinki for years. Half the fun of Wales away is the trips themselves. If Finland are happy for people to come in, which if you’re from the UK they’re not anyway atm then I don’t see the problem with going abroad and having a few drinks with your mates.

Norwegian Air cancelled our flights this morning. Will be glad of the refund but such a shame this away isn’t happening. Think I’m more disappointed than the Euros, at least we can go to that next year. Hopefully.

Also had Ryan Air cancel my Dublin to Sofia flight, which i was a little more optimistic about ...
Is there actually any talk at the FAW about training for this game and that it is actually going ahead?

Unless I have missed something, I think that this is the first that I have seen from the FAW talking about "behind closed doors" - this one for the women's game in Norway ;-(
Not that I was overly optimistic, but the levels od daily COVID cases in Finland (and in Norway) is still minimal...

Many of the people who have died have had underlying medical conditions but my then 93 yr old uncle with type 2 diabetes caught in hospital and is now 2 months past his 94th birthday in rude health.
At the moment it is showing a 3% death rate but even that is questionable as a lot of the recording of the stats is doubtful and testing is sporadic.
1968/69 flu pandemic killed 1 million people.

So every person that’s died of COVID 19 had something wrong with them??? I’m glad your 94yo uncle is doing well but this virus is definitely very potent hence the World still being paralysed in most parts.

Restrictions would not be needed if people showed some sense with this Chinese virus like be sensible keep your distance and masks on in enclosed areas. Seen it many times in Croydon high street some people think it does not apply to them at all.

Not a chinese virus as virus was already around a long time before Wuhan outbreaks. Of course you could just want to be parroting President Trump.

Uefa has revealed Poland ( oscardelta smiling), Hungary, Greece and Cyprus have put themselves forward as neutral 'hubs' should they be required... Uefa also plans further discussions later this month with the aim of "partially changing" the blanket decision for all matches to be played behind closed doors... www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53684640

People come into work rather than have a day or two on the sick with a really bad cold, spreads the cold around the workplace infecting more people for a longer period. Just restrict travel properly and this virus will go away quicker.

Cant ever remember Wales playing in Greece and would love it.

Cant ever remember Wales playing in Greece and would love it. This would be superb if it happened! Does anyone know if Greece originally made a bid to host? I spent a couple of days in Athens on my way to the Cyprus game in 2015. Went to a Panathinaikos game - great atmosphere, and a stadium with lots of character (although that was the Apostolos Nikolaidis Stadium rather than the Olympic Stadium). Greece didn't originally bid to be a host, but I suppose we can't rule anything out. Unsuccessful host venues were: Minsk, Belarus Sofia, Bulgaria Jerusalem, Israel Skopje, Macedonia Stockholm, Sweden Cardiff, Wales Also Brussels dropped out as their stadium wasn't going to be ready in time. Cardiif and Stockholm were the two top-ranked venues expected to take Belgium's games but they were awarded to Wembley (of course). Sadly at the moment, I can foresee the tournament either being cancelled, or maybe being held behind closed doors in Germany or similar.... Hopefully I'll be proved wrong!

Well lots of different conspiracy theories etc about where it originated but I will go with China from WHAT I have read & not parroting Trump but he is a tiny bit better than them Chinese gangster leaders.
