Anybody who needs to get back ASAP before going off to Sofia Ryanair have flights from Birmingham 8.30 out 22.30 back on day of the game. Bit risky but only £46 return.

There's a ferry arriving at 1145. Google maps says as 45 min wall to Aviva. I walk fast, would that be plenty of time to get to the game oscardelta? Don't mind if I'm walking in as the anthems are on. Or would a taxi/bus be quicker?

Assumption is that ferry arrives on time, plus give yourself 30 mins from arrival to being on dry land. No idea whether it is the slow or quick ferry. There is a bus service that will take you to the city centre if needed but also will be taxis there.
On basis of safety, it is a busy port though Saturdays are quieter, I would suggest get a taxi into city centre, have a beer there and go to the stadium if have the time or get dropped close to the stadium if no time.
It is walkable and 45 mins seems generous.

Hi guys,
It's likely the date for this match will change to the Sunday 11th October as our playoff match in Solvakia is on the Thursday 8th so assuming the game is allowing fans to attend, just be mindful of that when you're booking flights/accom.
The rearranged dates should be confirmed within the next few weeks.

It won't be a huge change, just 1 day later than the original fixture date.
UEFA have it under review so they should release the revised schedule shortly.

There is sadly no guarantee that this game will have any supporters present.

There is sadly no guarantee that this game will have any supporters present. Indications here are that crowds of up to 18,500 will be allowed in the Aviva Stadium for games this Autumn assuming no second wave. However my guess would be that no away fans would be allowed if the limit was 18,500.

There are current circa 14,000 home season tickets but that no doubt will change downwards.
If there are the numbers you speak of then would hope to see circa 1000 away supporters max.
Likely i will travel via Holyhead by car but if circumstances dictate would go to game and head straight back which may be the only option allowed for away supporters via Rosslare.

There are currently no travel restrictions between the two countries. However if the ~18,500 limit is in place then my guess is the FAI will not want any away fans as segregation etc would greatly reduce this limit. I doubt UEFA will enforce any away allocations at this time.
